Good food, big portions

Picked this Italian restaurant by chance, and were happy, confirmed our expectations that it was better than anything close by. The service was amazing with a very smiley, friendly and welcoming crew. we actually stayed 3 nights in Amsterdam and went there 2 nights... More

Wow... The food in this place is great. Very traditional in its menu and choice, the whole experience from the environment, food and drink. He service was a little rusty, but to me that felt more natural to Italy, but they were very friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to return to Amsterdam and go back to the restaurant.

Picked this Italian restaurant by chance, and were happy, confirmed our expectations that it was better than anything close by. Soon after we entered a group of German tourists entered and were joyfully greeted by the hosts by "welcome back"! We could easily go back as well if we stayed in Amsterdam for longer. Bruschetta and sauted mushrooms for starters,... More

Really unusual restaurant in it's decor. It was really quiet when we got there early evening but it soon got very busy. The food was excellent and really good service to match. Very reasonably priced too.

I wandered down the street looking at menus posted in the windows. While this one seemed average, the place just felt right. I went in and was proved right. The staff was friendly, the coffee good and the meal was wonderful. While I wasn’t drinking – it was lunchtime - the bar looked fully stocked. In brief, I had a... More

The dining highlight of any visit to Amsterdam is to eat dinner at Saturninos. My visit last week was no exception. Located close to the flower market at the Koningsplein end, it is easily reached on tram 1,2 or 5. I visited on a Sunday evening about 18:00 and there were plenty of tables available, though it did fill up... More
