Bought a "grilled cheese sandwich". Was very expensive, and was only 1 slice of bread! How can this be a sandwich?? Also came bare; no salad, no small pile of crisps, nothing. Very poor value, very small portions. Tastes ok tho. But overall not at all worth it.

We stumbled upon this little gem during our layover in Amsterdam, when we had a few hours to visit the city. It was so good that we went back for lunch during our returning connection! It is right in front of the Centraal train station. They serve a great menu of original local fares for breakfast and lunch, including soups... More

We stopped here by chance. We were pleasantly surprised. The decor was unique. The restaurant was bright and cheery, as were the staff. But most important the food was superb. We were there for lunch and the 4 of us had a different sandwich and a beer of course. Can I say the food was exceptional. If we should return... More

Right across from Amsterdam Centraal, lovely little cafe with in and out door seating. Went there for brunch both morning sI was in town. Great Coffee, good menu, very fresh tasting food and friendly staff. Love the homely feel to the place - bohemian and cosy. Perfect place for coffee or a light lunch. After a morning walk or before... More

We came across this little gem by chance one morning when we were looking for somewhere nice to have breakfast. We loved it so much that we went back for breakfast and lunch again during our 4 night stay. The French style breakfast was delicious and they sourced their bread from a local bakery around the corner, which was outstanding.... More

We went here for dinner after a very long day of walking. I'm surprised to hear others say the service was good. We had one server for the entire restaurant and if I wasn't so tired and hungry I may have walked out. I'm very glad we persevered. The food was excellent. I had a steak with veggies that was... a lot of attractions. Next to the main station and entrance of the red light district you find this "silly thing" called dwaze zaken. Young staff, good food, good prices, what else do you need before or after your visit to Amsterdam.
