Description: Vinkeles is housed in an old bakery; which was set up in 1787 by the Regents of the Catholic Church, who at the time owned the building. The bakery flourished until 1811 and guests still can see the original ovens, which were discovered intact during restoration work.Echoing the décor of the hotel, Executive Chef Dennis Kuipers’ menu combines the traditional and the modern. The dishes served in Vinkeles show Kuipers’ love of the contemporary French cuisine. He combines the freshest ingredients to produce a menu that is delicious and unique to Vinkeles. In 2009 restaurant Vinkeles was awarded a Michelin star.

Three statements in return for a wonderful evening. 1 Casper and his team deserve five stars for hospitality, sophistication and craftsmanship. 2 Vinkeles is not about dining to a certain standard but about setting standards for a dinner 3 Ultimately - this restaurant is not about serving food but about providing happiness to its guests.

Vinkeles is a fantastic restaurant. The food is inventive, beautifully presented, and has noticable Dutch influences. Staff are very attentive and know a lot about the food and wine. The dining room is in a historic old bakery from a former poor house, and the atmosphere of the Dylan hotel is upscale and trendy without being pretentious. Unless you usually... More

As part of our stay at The Dylan we had the 4 course taster menu as part of the package that my wife chose. All I can say is that any chef that can make me eat pickled herring and enjoy it is very skilled indeed! Overall experience was very good. Couple of minor negative points (wine waiter's method of... We visited Vinkeles while for one time. We selected 4- courses tasting menu, and my conclusion was : very particular and sophisticated.... I really liked a tuna tartare accompanied with the basilik sorbet... very refined!!!!! The pigeone - a minimal portion with maximum taste. )))) We have tried all vines proposed by sommelier (champagne, white, red and dessert vine), and... More

My husband and I visited Vinkeles May the 16th. We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and were treated like royalty from the minute we walked in the door until we left. We had the full tasting menu and everything was delicious. The food presentation, knowledge of sommelier and waitstaff as well as the setting were perfect. We highly recommend this... More

Lovely room, filled with orchids, food of highest quality. We do not drink alcohol, but this was not a problem. We did not feel judged like in other high class establishments. Food served on black slate plates and beautifully done.

As part of my favorite hotel in Amsterdam The Dylan. This restaurant really deserves a second star. The food pure art and tastes delicious, the service is wonderful and the ambiance is very warm. They have a wide variety of wines which the recommend to suit your chosen dishes. I recommend everyone to dine at this place.

Good atmonphere and great waiters. The sommelier was not afraid of making alternative suggestions and the one wine he picked was good The food is nice, had the alliance menu, and is not toy food. Found the size of the servings just perfect. However, found the pigeon - which is their signature dish - a little unrefined. It was nice... More
