Everything in this restaurant was wonderful, from the food, to the service to the decor. It is easy to see that the owners chose everything with great care. We had the four course dinner and each course was delicious and beautifully presented. In addition,we were served a complimentary starter as well as cookies after the meal. The waitress was as... It seems that one should get more for their euro than what Bussia has to offer. The wine list was decent but we both felt the menu was very limited. We are not fish eaters and the only non-fish items were a veal dish and a venison item. We ordered the veal which just didn't wow us. It was loin... More

Lovely little Italian place. Delicious food, great wine list, fantastic surroundings and friendly professional service! Building was awesome, different levels and original features. We walked in on a Friday, they were quite full but happy to accommodate the four of us. Quite trendy but certainly not too fancy.

Absolutely wonderful. The service, food, wine and overall experience is worth the price. We ordered the 5 course dinner with wine parings and were not disappointed at any point of our meal. Sitting upstairs we were able to have a viewpoint into the kitchen and watch all the other plates being artistically prepared. Highly recommended. Bussia will not disappoint -... More

We had the four course lunch, and all courses were excellent, especially the primo and the dessert, which were both dishes with plenty of different textures and flavours that went very well together. The wine they chose for us - a ripe but crisp chardonnay - went very well with the food (and when we asked for the name they... More

We had dinner which was based on fix menu and include 4 course. The food and the service were excellent! We are Jewish and don't eat pork and sea food and they did whatever they can to substitute these ingredients.

Bussia is a true gem in Amsterdam. This was the best meal I have ever eaten in an Italian restaurant, but it is Italian haute cuisine. Definitely not the place for Americans expecting spaghetti and pizza. They have both à la carte and 4 to 7 course serving menus. We had the five course serving at 55 Euros and we're... More

We had dinner on Saturday night. Make sure to make reservations. Service is excellent. Lovely setting . Food is fusion and interesting. Flavorful and platted imaginative. We had fish. Portions are small so of you want a large portion not a good place. Delicious combinations of veggies, etc. A must try !!

While Bussia bills itself as a modern Italian cucina, it is really more of a continental restaurant. And oh what a restaurant. The best bet is the four course tasting menu, which includes an appetizer, pasta, meat or fish and dessert. Each course was excellent. It was leisurely, taking 2 1/2 hours. Service was friendly and helpful. (Natalie was superb.)... More

There's a reason why this is restaurant received raving reviews--all the dishes are all so well-executed with such finesse and attention to details. Yes, it's expensive but if you enjoy good Italian food and wouldn't mind splurging once in a while, it's totally worth it. The concept is modern Italian dishes and the decos/ambience in the restaurant were on par... More
