Modern Italian with a twist!

A contemporary modern italian with some fantastic flavours, not what you would expect! Wine menu was amazing and reasonable, staff tentative and accommodating. Would recommend this but not to the classic italian fans. Brilliant.

We booked Bussia for our last evening in Amsterdam, what a fantastic finale to our gastronomic trip. We were seated by friendly staff and our lovely Tiffany introduced herself as our waitress for the evining, what an asset to Bussia Tiffany is. She expertly guided us through the choices of 4,6 or 9 course tasting menu and she advised on... More

After walking past Bussia several times and seeing how popular it was, my husband and I booked a table for dinner. The food was delicious, sophisticated and beautifully presented. We especially enjoyed the appetizer, which combined vegetables and fruit in a creative way, and the very fresh seafood. The tables are well arranged so that you can have a conversation... More

My sister and I had a wonderful and relaxed meal at Bussia. The wait staff was wonderful and very attentive. We had a great view of the street from our table. The food was delicious and you can tell that the chef is very proud of what goes onto the plate. A nice departure from heavy dutch food! To save... More

Creative food! The starter course of pickled cucumber and melon with local greens was unlike anything I have tasted in the States. Very tasty! The lamb ravioli was great. Rooster was cooked to perfection. Ambience was relaxed but service was attentive.

All dishes artistically presented. Looked better than they tasted but still had good flavor. 4 course dinner with wine pairings a good choice. The dessert was a special treat and all wine choices were spectacular. The risotto with mushrooms was the best for me. An interesting evening for foodies.

From the entrance until the end, one of the best Amsterdam experiences ever... We were attended by ever-smiling waitress who understood all our caprice for the order of the food. From amuse-bouche to deserts, everything we had was delicious, nothing was over-promised or ostentatious... Highly recommended...

We went there for dinner, we had a six course menu and each dish was amazing. Wines selection was good and service just right. Note it is on the pricey side

Ate here at a team meeting dinner, 18 of us in a private area upstairs. Service was attentive and timely. We had a set meal with choice of mains, but the food was excellent for a set menu. Only little issue was the air conditioning, it was like sitting in a freezer, and took quite a while to get altered... More

Very disappointed after our visit to this restaurant as we were looking forward to an Italian meal. Although the food was good enough it certainly could not have been further away from the traditional Italian fare Italians don't put foam and flower heads on food! If you are looking for a VERY expensive dining experience this is the place for... More
