Popped into here for breakfast and was not disappointed, nice food, good coffee and a smiling waitress. The décor is a little tatty, but it is well placed for people watching, a great greasy spoon go and enjoy.

What an amazing place! I stopped here for lunch one day and breakfast and coffee the next. There is no rushing you to finish even when they are busy, I used my laptop to work since they had great wifi and they seemed happy to let me chill out. Great little neighborhood and the place is super clean, even the... More

In need of a good feed we stopped off at this pub and I had their Hotspot. Just what I needed and damn tasty. Washed down with a delicious, cold beer. Free WiFi. You can't ask for more than that!

My family and I stayed at the nearby Renaissance Hotel for seven nights. The breakfast buffet at that hotel was way too expensive. So we came to the Corner Restaurant for breakfast every morning (seven in all) because the menu had a good variety (English breakfast, American breakfast, omelets and a variety of coffees and juices). Every morning, I ordered... More

Had a pleasant afternoon snack here - a pancake with chocolate sauce. Waitress staff are a little all over the place - some are better than others so a bit hit and miss on ordering/service etc. However, food was nice and I was not rushed. Was able to spends a nice hour or so people watching in the sun.

The food may be mediocre, but the service was excellent. I had the wienerschnitzel and it was very good, but the rest of the food didn't compare. That said, the service was incredible. The two servers and cook couldn't have done a better job. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Amsterdam.

On a busy friday night, after walking miles stopped on a whim. Fish and chips average. Mayo served from a squeeze tube. Spare ribs average and greasy. Beer as everywhere in Amsterdam. Very good. Service was very nice . One lone girl waiting all tables outside and in was charming even though overworked

I had the Omelette Royal - Mushrooms, bacon, a few fries, some salad. Really nice and very tasty. All washed down with a glass of Heineken. We had a nice window seat and enjoyed fresh air and able to watch the many pedestrians walking past the window. Really nice friendly ambience with a coolness befitting Amsterdam. My wife had the... Needed eggs and bacon and this restaurant served that purpose. Menu was varied and reasonably priced. Food was good, service a bit iffy.
