We had read about Tomaz in our guidebook and it sounded really good. So we went there in the evening for dinner. It was nice weather, not like the past days, so we wantedto sit outside. Unfortunately you can't have food outside so we had to go back in again. I ordered the catch of the day, mussels, with fries... More

On our last day in Amsterdam, we decided to have a real Dutch dinner. We had walked by here earlier and the owner was just opening up. We spoke to him for a short while. One of our concerns was getting a table, as the Dutch football team was playing that evening. He assured us that there was no problem... More

We have been here twice and enjoyed it both times. The stamppot's are wonderful. It is a relaxed environment. We made reservations both times. The first night their cook was out sick and had a back up but they honored our reservation anyway which was very appreciated. The owner was nice and chatted with us as that first night the... More

I've just come back from a long weekend in Amsterdam and this was by far our favorite restaurant, so much so that we ended up going back on our last night. The Dutch steak that I had was excellent and left just enough room to share a cheese board and some more wine. The service was very friendly and the... More

My friend and I happened to randomly find this restaurant just wandering the streets of Amsterdam and I was wonderfully surprised with the dining experience. For dinner we ordered the mash pot to share. It was a smaller portion than I expected, but still enough, and delicious too. The restaurant has a great atmosphere: pretty chill and casual, and nice... Really liked the stamppot here. And the beef cheek was fantastic as well, one of the best meal we had on our 3-weeks long Europe trip.

The perfect restaurant for a calm evening after a hectic sigthseeing day. The service was one of the best I experienced the last months. Not really cheap, but you have to keep in mind that's Amsterdam and that's holland, both areas where going out is expensive. We had the first time salm, second evening meat and both time we were... A great restaurant to experience local dishes. Good atmosphere, friendly proprietor and reasonable prices. A small restaurant but all the better for it.
