Went with my wife for a meal, and our expectations were mixed, but we got realy disapointed. The meal was average and the service was poor.

Tis tiny, cozy restaurant is on a little side street & you will appreciate your GPS to find it. It was full of locals. The mussels half order comes in a huge pot we could barely dent. Fries delicious! Also had some traditional dishes with cabbage & potatoes & sauerkraut & potatoes - also huge portions but delicious & I... More

The owner is really nice and chats with you without being too imposing. The food took a while to arrive but when it did, it was a great surprise. I ordered the pea soup with... More

I had one of the best burgers I've ever sampled here....and I've sampled a lot. Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, nice selection of wine, Tomaz will always have a place in my heart as I proposed to my fiancé here. Thank you Tomaz. :)

Place in a very nice location, in the middle of the city center, but hidden from the noise and the big walking crowd. Very simple and warm atmosphere, ideal for an informal dinner with friends or relatives. Personnel friendly and ready to suggest specialties of the house. Food difficult to judge: traditional dutch food, the quality of the cooking averaged... More

We had dinner in Tomaz after long and cold day exploring Amsterdam. Gluhwein was excellent and much needed, but after that, only one of us has been satisfied with the meal - my daughter ordered duck breast with mashed potato and it was perfect. I was unfortunate to get mussels and half of them were not open, my fries were... More

We kept things traditional and ordered the famous Dutch pea soup, which we have had many times before. Here the recipe is different and it really punches some flavour. The soup is thick and very well season and it... More
