Tiny restaurant in which you choose your number of courses (3-6) only. The chef supplies those courses with only input about allergies and items you can't eat. Each course comes with wines chosen to complement the food. The result is a wonderful experience

My husband and I ate at this wonderful restaurant during a weekend trip to Amsterdam, and I want to go back to Amsterdam primarily to eat here again (don't get me wrong, Amsterdam is lovely, but this restaurant was unforgettable!). The food is marvelous, the wine is perfect, and everything is chosen for you so all the thinking is taken... More

We had the best food in our whole trip of Amsterdam. There is no choice so you have to go open minded! We went for the four courses with wine pairings and it was all fabulous. No fancy gimmicks just excellent quality, cooking and knowledgeable service with the wines. Really fantastic evening and can't wait to go back again!

We were lucky to get a table for valentines and our entire night was just perfect. This is a proper hidden gem and we felt like there was excellent value for the price. Lovely staff, adorable atmosphere, epic food and the wine was so good we had to buy some bottles with us home! Highly recommended. Booking a table the... More

Just finished a lovely meal here. I've wanted to try it for ages and it was worth the wait. The room is small and intimate and the service is very personal and attentive. Even my boyfriend, who is a little picky sometimes, could not name one single element that he did not like (unheard of!). We had the 5 course... More

We came across the restaurant on our first night in Amsterdam. It was a Saturday and we were very fortunate there was a cancellation - so we got the chance to sample this fantastic restaurant. Recommend booking in advance, which we will do on our next visit to Amsterdam! The ambience is relaxed, no rush but always being served fantastic... More

A truly amazing dining experience. I was traveling solo through Amsterdam and was a little self conscious about taking a table top as a single diner, so I emailed Utrechtsedwarstafel inquiring about a reservation. I was promptly answered by Hans who graciously booked me for a sitting. The meal was incredible, each course brought to the table by the chef... More

Simply amazing. We have been recommended to visit the restaurant for our girls weekend away. We booked in advance to make sure we get a table as there is only one booking per table each night. Well, we experienced fine dining at its best. Food melted in your mouth, amazing combination of flavours hit one's taste buddy wine was perfectly... More

We had an excellent evening at Utrechtsedwarstafel. It has an unusual concept in that there is no menu. When you book, you choose 3,4,or 5 courses, accompanied by wine(2 different price levels). You can make known any food restrictions, but after that, the choice is in their hands. We chose 4 courses and the higher priced level of wine. We... More
