Visited this resturant on my weekend trip to Amsterdam, the food was good quality but I have a problem with the price as we ordered 1 chicken in black bean sauce and Prawn in sweet and sour and we had to share our rice along with a bottle of water which didn't even look brand new -cost 54.50 euro I... Visited this Chinese on a three day visit to amsterdam. I also visited it 11 years ago and enjoyed the food then and it has definately stood the test of time. Food was lovely and service was good to. Brilliant views over the canal. Very clean and well furnished. Toilets were lovely and clean which I like to see in... More

I have never eat worse at a Chinese restaurant. I never thought that is possible. This restaurant has a nice view and three floors very nice furnished toleits on every floor, no music during the meal. They put you near the window and from outside you see the restaurant full, that is a good thing. We ordered duck which had... More

Stopped off here to have a dim sum lunch. The service was pretty average. Nice view of the streets from where we sat. The menu is quite limited and did find some of their food a bit on the salty side. We ordered 8 dishes and the bill came up to approx 46euros, back in London it would've cost me... More

Had lunch here while in Amsterdam for business. The restaurant is close to Dam Square. I had the chicken chow mein, which was wasn't the best I've ever had, but it wasn't bad either. It's an ok place to stop for a quick bite.

On a stone-throw distance from the Dam Square is this chinese restaurant. On the groundfloor (different entrance) is the popular sister restaurant, Golden Chopsticks with relatively simple but delicicious dishes. In Oriental City we have had Dim Sum a couple of times with friends. The best view is at one of the window side tables. The dim sum is very... More

This was a busy (expect to have to wait up to 30-60 mins at peak times), fairly good Chinese restaurant with a traditional atmosphere and menu. They had a good selection of dim sum and seafood dishes (the oysters with ginger and spring onion were particularly good). Service was on the good side of expectations. The food was tasty, with... Everything we ordered was good- the dimsum, shrimp, lobster, beef, vegetables, fried rice. If I ever came back to Amsterdam, I would eat here again.

Very busy restaurant set over a couple of floors. As others have already said, the place was packed, mostly with Chinese diners so we were expecting big things and were not disappointed. The menu is confusing and there wasn't a huge range of dishes to choose from unlike other Chinese restaurants I've been to. We ordered prawn toasts and chinese... More
