my favourite sea food in Amsterdam

Great fresh sea food, like I love to enjoy in France. This is probably the third or fourth time for me and never disapointed. Servers are always ready to help and propose the best choice. Good selection of good wines. Nice ambiance as well.

We knew that the food is going to be good, but were amazed how high the standards were. The waiters were all very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the food was outstanding. Excellent location.

We found the quality of the food variable. The salad was too heavily dressed. The fish was ok, but not that hot. The fried potatoes were rather oily. They should give you a choice of vegetables/salad and types of potatoes rather than just bring them. Rather pricey for what you get. Felt it was a place that tourists frequent rather... More

We had a reservation, but arrived earlier. It seemed no problem, we got a table right away. Unfortunately, it was too close to a larger table and I felt disturbed by the waiter brushing me every time he passed. When I said something, we were asked if we wanted to change tables, which we very gladly accepted. The food was... More

We were recommended by friends and the hotel - gorgeous seafood and fish restaurant, loads of atmosphere, people being turned away for tables. Delicious food, great staff, we had such a good time.

It was great - make a reservation and get you but in the seat. They dont have a huge menu, i think it was one page in each language. it was enough. my husband and i eat till we busted and it was so tasty.

A typical fish/seafood restaurant with tiled walls and a large fish tank on the wall. They offer a wide selection of shellfish and crustaceans both hot or chilled. Other fish dishes are also available such as swordfish or sole. All dishes are served with a side salad and french fries that are rather dull and uninspiring. While everything was fresh... More

The warm welcome and surroundings soon made us forget the miserably cold, windy weather prevailing in Amsterdam, as we settled down to enjoy an excellent meal. A starter of scallops was followed by a middle-sized seafood platter for two and we were impressed by the waitresses' willingness to replace the half Canadian lobster (not one of our favourites) with extra... I couldn't disagree more with Pieris' comment about poor service. From the moment we walked in on a very busyGood Fridayevening we were greeted with efficiency, smiles and effective waiting. I mean they did their jobs very well. I asked for a Pernod as an aperitif. Not in stock. OK. Dutch gin? The jonge? No problem. (I had been told... More
