tasty sushi & fair prices!

Nice and small sushi restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam. The variety of menues is not too big but especially sushi and the teryaki chicken is really tasty. The prices are affortable and you'll be sated even if you got a big appetite. :)

We used to like this place a lot but now we'll not go back. The Sushi's are not fresh, they tasted as if they're prepared 2-3 days in advance. Taking this place rates into consideration you're much better off in an all you can eat restaurant nearby

The problems started from scratch. We asked for tap water but no, not unless we ordered a drink. Then came the weak and flavourless Miso soup. Finally the sushi itself was poorly made and had the smallest of fillings. We asked for water a few times and on leaving provided the feedback that this was the first time we had... More

Small and cute restaurant. The quality of the sashimi is excellent, sushi is good and the gyoza and beef are amazing. Great service and quite cheap for the quality. Definitely recommended.

The sushi can be crowded, so reserve in advance. It is very simple, but cosy and pleasant. The menu is limited, but the quality is fine. They have some interesting dishes like the octopus salad with tiny red octopuses. The beef yakitori is particularly nice. With three persons we spent 90 euros including drinks (soft + sake). For Japanese food... More

I used to go here at least once a week, and I will do that again in the nearby future. Right now I'm living in the USA, but when I return home (Amsterdam) I'm happy I can visit my favorite restaurant again. The waitresses are so nice and sweet, and they always give us a free cup of coffee after... More

Very good sushi: salmon/avocado makis and nigiri's with generous slabs of fish. Not cheap though and opens only from 1pm, so not for an early lunch

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
