We started with an Antipasto and a very dry Italian Prosecca. Then spinach linguine put into a large wheel of Parmigiana and scraped and stirred. Which left it with a perfect amount of cheese coated. Desserts were OMG!! and staff very attentive.

We were pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon this Italian restaurant. I'd personally give it a much higher rating based on the food we ate. I had risotto with asparagus which was delicious and my partner had ravioli. We only had this one course as we'd had a very late lunch. I'd definitely go back there...not cheap but the food... More

What a joke. Two hours to wait for one starter and the main course. Gave up on the dessert...... So, went to pay for what we had eaten, only to be charged a random 35 euros extra for a bottle of wine we never ordered. This is after I complained about the wait. I will be checking my card transactions... More

My wife and I both enjoyed a very good meal at this restaurant and the service was good. Open kitchen and chef is watching you and feedback to the chef is not only encouraged; it's expected! Thumbs up to both the food, the chef, and the restaurant!

First I have to sa:, the service and treatment that you'll probably will receive from the staff is a bit cool and almost snobby but still just what you need. We REALLY liked it but I can asume that some people might feel a bit left out. We got the feeling that it's a family running the restaurant and therefor... More

Food was top notch as was the service. We shared a mixed green salad (€ 5) and linguini with seafood. Highly recommend!

It's great Italian fare...not your typical "spaguetti and meatball" type of place. But it is very pricey.

The Restaurant is nice, we get a big table for two, which is great when dishes are coming. Wine was good, and we definitely recommend the pastas served directly in an entire Parmigiano wheel! The tiramisu is just great, perfectly made. The lobster was massive and really good. Price is fair given the high quality (50€ each with wine and... More

Very upscale restaurant serving genuine Italian food which is not always the case in Amsterdam where Italian flags and names are often put on eateries owned by other nationals. A bit pricey but absolute top quality and a speedy and friendly service. I recommend the raviolis and the fish dishes which come with a side of fresh spinach. We knew... More

We save D'Antica for our last meal in Amsterdam, as it is so special. We have been coming for years, so we can attest to the consistent quality of the food and the service. We always feel special when we come. That in itself is a unique quality of a restaurant. The food is also exceptional. This time, we had... More
