We save D'Antica for our last meal in Amsterdam, as it is so special. We have been coming for years, so we can attest to the consistent quality of the food and the service. We always feel special when we come. That in itself is a unique quality of a restaurant. The food is also exceptional. This time, we had... More

This was so good the food was amazing, staff were a bit funny at first but nice once we got talking to them. The sharing plate as the starter is a great choice and good wine too.

D Antica is a nice italian restaurant located close to Rembrandt Square. D Antica serves real Italian food, We ate green pasta flambeed with whiskey, muschrooms and tomato in a parmesancheese.

Let's just get this out - yes, I suppose the service is slow, or probably more accurately, not rushed. Which is really great right up until you want to leave, admittedly. I ducked into this restaurant, which was around the corner from my hotel, because as a vegetarian, Italian is a safe bet for me in Europe. I went pretty... More

Nice location, friendly people. We had a dinner on Friday night, so no stress. Superb olive oil at the table. Good food, excellent wine. Not for low budget eaters, but great for fine food lovers ! This was my second time, we'll be back in the future !

Agree with reviews that service was slow. Food was fine but not really special with one exception: the flaming spinach pasta served in the cheese wheel had wonderful flavors and was perfectly cooked. Try it!

Although the food was good, it wasnt great. Most people swear by this place, but i wasnt convinced. To say that service was slow is an understatement, in fact one of our parties had to leave before she even got her plate, 2 others ate so fast they left the moment the finished their main meal. Lovely scenery, lotsa waiters,... More

For food and ambience I would rate this restaurant as very good, but I think the service lets it down and they lost our reservation in spite of a call 1 hour before to check! Also, not the cheapest Italian restaurant I have ever been too.

Better than many a restaurant in Rome. But also more expensive than most in Rome. Ask for suggestions, and it also helps if you speak italian.

The food was OK, and some of the predefined menu I ate was even above average, but the service was below average and the room where we stayed was extremely hot and lacking ventilation. Probably is nicer is the main room below.
