Honestly the best thing in Amsterdam!! The homemade drinks were perfect and the open faced sandwiches just the best.

This small and charming café is superb for a full-fledged teatime. The service is great and personal and the staff is both attentive and caring.
They produce their own veggies for their savory treats. The soup (rosemary and something) was awesome. As was all the other small savoury thingies. The pastires were OK, cannot complain on the selection of teas....

As our hotel recommended this place, and it was so highly rated on trip advisor, husband and I trekked to find this place. Just a lane off kalverstraat, this place is tiny but has great ambience. Service was great- everyone around us ordered the big brekkie so I followed suit. It did not disappoint! for 13euros we got: a croissant,...

During my 4 days trip I visited this cosy place for two breakfasts.( for the other two I couldn't have time for breakfast) Old cheese was marvelous.Large breakfast plate was very good with croissants, homemade marmelades etc. I strongly suggest you to try this place .But do not forget to make reservation.
This tiny cosy place in a small street near the Kalverstraat is amazing. The owners Willem-Jan and Kirsten prepare breakfasts, lunches and high teas from their own cultivated (biological) products: you taste the love. Hard to choose from the items on the menu and not to eat your fingers too. Booking in advance needed.
We visited Gartine during our long weekend in Amsterdam. The food was outstanding! I ordered french toast and my husband had pancakes and both were delicious! Before our trip, I read reviews on TripAdvisor, so this was our first stop on our first day in Amsterdam. We were disappointed that we weren't able to make it back another morning!

Easily the best meals we had while visiting Amsterdam, and we only visited for breakfast!
I arrived in Amsterdam on a Saturday morning and since I wasn't able to check into my room just yet, I headed straight to Gartine. I was the first one there when they opened, which was good because it's a very small space and they...

I wish I could eat here every single day. Absolutely gutted I didnt get to eat here on my final day in Amsterdam because it was shut. The scrambled eggs on sour...

Gartine is one of my favourite place in Amsterdam! It is a very cosy little tea room. The two owners specialised in slow food so you will always have something in your plate which is seasonal. They always make a point in cooking healthy but also tasty products like salmon tartar with truffle mayonnaise! A special "woaw" for their white...

Simply amazing! The most delicious breakfast ever, in a pretty little cafe run by the loveliest couple. The french toast and ginger bread are to die for. On weekends make sure you book ahead to guarentee a table.
