this is a really great place to eat, and the staff are friendly, I can recommend this to anyone visiting Alkmaar. Patricia
We went to Irodion with friends on Friday evening. What a great Greek restaurant. The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was great. The service was excellent. The food was fantastic. The presentation of all meals was most appetising. I would love to eat here again if staying in Alkmaar again.
Irodion had really good Greek desserts and excellent service. he staff were very welcoming and served every customer well. Although I do not expect to be in Alkmaar again, I will be sure to go to Irodion in The Hague to try the other dessert items I missed in this trip.
if you are looking for an easy going place to go with your friends, or fancy lots of food (esp. meat) to still your hunger together with family, this is the place to go. Don't expect haute cuisine, but quality of food is not bad and worth the friendly prices. Service is good and always friendly. The ouzo on the... More
Friendly and efficient service the whole evening. Big portions and a long veriety of dishes on the menu, allthough the majority is BBQ in different veriations. ( Even when you pass the restaurant that is facing De Waagplein you can smell the grilled meat!)

It also has been renovated with nice paintings on the wall and more light. Entrances are always good (keftedes!), the main courses are... More
One of the few establishments in Alkmaar open for a weary traveller delayed by storms. Excellent service, good menu, prompt service, ouzo, what more could you want?

Service was great, the food was outstanding! It was a busy place on a Friday night, but we had no problems getting our food without... More

Took a while before we were given a menu whick was in Greek and Dutch. When I tried to ask a waiter a question re the food on... More
