Staff is great, the food is fantastic, the location is very nice. Simple choice with pre-combined menus of different value, chose the 'Bali' menu and you will get the best of the kitchen served.

My friend and I took our kids here as we hadn't yet eaten Indonesian, so we wanted to give it a go. We ordered the rijstafel (rice table) for all of us, they explained what each of the dishes were and how to eat them. It was a lot of fun in that sense, we stayed for quite a while... More

We were very happy to eat here. My friend, her children as well as my children & i treated ourselves to a dinner there and enjoyed it. We chose the rice table since we had never eaten Indonesian food before. The owner was very kind & explained every dish to us. It is costly although worth it.

Went there to try something else. A bit disappointed of the rice table, apart from 1 sauce spicy (as appetizer), the rest was very mild. A bit overpriced for what we got. They were very busy and had to wait 1 hour to be served (eventhough went there late - 20h30), but the waiters were helpful and the boss came... More

We didn't like the ricetable, it was far too sweet. Also we are used to only chicken breast in the UK so found the horrible thigh pieces inedible.Everything was covered in sugar or coconut. It wasn't like any Indonesian food we have eaten before.Very overpriced for what was served up. Wouldn't go back

We visited friends in Alkmaar and when we discussed where to go for dinner, the question was, “what can we get here that we can’t get in other parts of Europe?” Of course the answer was “Indonesian!”, so we went to Delhi. We ordered the basic Rijsttafel (sort of a sampler) and were very happy with it. Some of the... More

Still a nice place, after a lot of years. Food is reliably good and well presented, though a bit on the mild side (catering to Dutch tastes, probably) if you like your Indonesian food spicy. Atmosphere is nice and quiet, good for a family outing.

If you like good food from Indonesia; don't miss this restaurant. There's a lot to do and see in Alkmaar. In summertime there is a cheesmarket and nice shops are open all year round (exept on sunday).

At Deli you can enjoy one of the famous dishes that came from the period that Indonesia was a colony of the Netherlands. It is called rijsttafel and consists of a bowl of rice with a lot of small dishes with various kinds of meats, vegetables, sauces and sambals. There are only a few restaurants in the Netherlands that match... More

Greeted with a great big welcoming smile by Hon the patron. who later explained the intricasies of a traditional Reis Tafel. soon almost thirty dishes arrives. My plate with rice in the middle surrounded by a spponful of each of the dishes looked like a work of art. Every mouthful was different and eache more mouth watering than the previous.... More
