Understated style in Maastricht

Highly recommend this place. You'll need a bit of patience getting a seat most times, but once you're in, you're in to win. Great food, wine and service in a lovely, authentic atmosphere.

Very good and tasty food, cosy and nice atmosphere. Make sure you go quite early as there is usually a long waiting queue.

Tasted the local dish, Zoer Vleis, and it was wonderful. The price was reasonable too. Very friendly staff. Was too crowded for our liking but that indicates it is a great place to eat and drink.

Cafe sjiek is in a great location near the center.Very tasty food, nice atmosphere and excellent music.I totally recommend it for both drinks and eat. After 22:30 it turns out in a bar rather than a restaurant.

Creative cuisine and great concept. Overall - perfect local dishes and lovely selected wines for reasonable prices. Although there was very crowded all the time, but I think that is the indication of food quality. Will definitely return though.

This great little Restaurant / Cafe is a great location to feel local when your a tourist. especially during the summer months on the stunning terrace. One of the most beautiful outside locations in the city / country. It's always busy and there is no rush for people to vacate a table. Menu is simple with classic french cafe food.... More

Tiny old "wooden" place with a dark brown bar in a bar room with long (not very wide) tables and s small restaurant room (5x5 m) in a general. Mostly full of people. 80% locals I guess. Waitresses have a special charm, a bit rough (German "ruppich"), but fast and helpful. We mostly take zurvles with homemade fries and cooked,... More

Wonderful Sauvignon Blanc, aperitif, antipasti del mare - fresh shrimp, local delicacies, smoked salmon. Friendly, conscientious service and always-refilled glasses. Recommended.

Great restaurant! Such a nice hipster, but also elegant/tasteful and definitely cosy atmosphere. Many local people of all kind (couples, families, men in suites, women in hoodies and sneakers, etc.). Tge staff is so friendly and competent. The bar keeper is so likeable and recommended a great wine to us (which wasn't among the more expensive ones offered, which I... More
