Pet means spicy in Thai and boy do they know what they are talking about. We used to live in Thailand and also thought we knew, but the owner was right when he recommended level 3 to 4, because 7 would be rather harsh. It was perfect, tasty, we were allowed to sample a rather hot tom yam which was... More

This is a great, small Thai Restaraunt - just slightly off the centre of Maastricht. We enjoyed a great meal with friendly service - and much appreciated their advice on the different menu items. It's not necessarily the place for a quiet, romantic candlelit supper - but in our case, (a family meal), it was just right. Cost for 3... More

We ate dinner here whilst staying at the Bastion hotel up the road - we were lucky to get a table as the restaurant was packed on a Friday night. The food was delicious - best Thai food I have eaten outside Thailand - and the portions were big. There seemed to be a quick turnover of tables but we... More

I've been in Maastricht now nearly two weeks and this restaurant is very near my hotel, The Bastion and everytime I walk past it has been full! So I assumed the food must be good and I need to go there one night. Well tonight I finally managed to get in there too eat, it was jam packed but just... More

Me and my wife have been at Pet Thai for dinner on a trip to Maastricht. The food was absolutely great. I had a Red Thai Curry. For some of the dishes you can choose spicyness level between 1 and 5. The owner explained, that 2 would be like in Thailand, so I chose 2. A good choice...:-) I really... More

Food here is fresh as it can be and it's cooked according to Thai style, not local taste. Try the deep fried whole fish (I bet you can't find it anywhere else in Maastricht). Simple place but good.

I regularly eat at Pet Thai. The food is excellent: hot curry, thai salad, fish..., constant quality ensured. The owner is also very nice. With dinner at Pet Thai or take-away (barely the time to sip a beer), you make sure that you will have a great time!

I eat here on average once a week, minimum 2 times per month. The food is just amazing. I especially enjoy the different Thai salads. Price vs quality is just perfect. Top stuff!!

Great service. Very good Thai food. Flavors have a lot of depth. It took some time to get our food. Recommend.
