Still going strong

All time favorite. Good place for a quick meal and a drink. Do expect crowds at certain times since it is a popular place. For good reason.

Nice and cozy spot on the Vrijthof square The outside terrace was full, it was cold but with the heaters it was comfortable outside. So "unfortunately" we had to sit inside instead. Service was good, food (zuurvlees, traditional sweet & sour beef stew) was good but a little too sweet to my taste.

I've been to this place many times and it has never let me down. Atmosphere is very nice, if its not too busy you can enjoy a nice and quiet dinner. Saté is definitely recommendable! Staff is very friendly and the menu divers enough. Price is not to high either!

Great steaks and fish. But we were seated at the very to under the roof and the place was hardly 18°C. The staff told us we will warm it since there are many of us. That was very disappointing. But in the end it was a good place to go since everybody was very happy with the food.

Each of the 4 of chose the 3 course menu, a choice we were all please with. Two of us had the 3 types of salmon as entrees, the other 2, the carpaccio. Each was deemed excellent. For our main courses, we split 2 fish to 2 beef. Despite potatoes withe the beef, the meal also included the standard huge... More

a typical old Pub/Restaurant in Maastricht, located on te Vrijthof, they serve local fare at a reasonable prce. Very good dinner salads and a well priced three course set menu.

Back here for another visit. Casual atmosphere, good food. Reason enough to return. It's asparagus season and their menu is appealing.

very centrally located on Vrijthof square with large heated terrace - busy noisy place - food quality was very average - service was average and not personal (we had at least 5 different people helping us) - food was served very very quickly - prices are normal -
