We arrived in the early Sunday evening to join our family members who had already arrived ahead of us. We were a group of 13 and so we requested a long(er) table setting, which was no problem and quickly created. We took the three course dinner menu with fish/meat/vegetarian options. The starters were of average quality: bot bad but not... More

Just before going to the Andre Rieu concert we planned to eat something and found ourselves sitting at Le Virage. It says on the outside "eetcafe" but it is certainly more then that. It is a real restaurant with real restaurant menu and service. We enjoyed our dinner and it was very good in quality for both the starters as... More

We enjoyed Le Virage's dinner. Very friendly staff, food was delicious, more on the french taste. Excellent location, right in the heart of Maastricht. It is not cheap, but also not overpriced (they had a predefined 3 course menu for a little more than 30eur). The restaurant is also not very big, so I'd advise to make a reservation.

Le Virage is one of the best restaurants in Maastricht. The wait staff is fantastic. We went in one night, just off the street, and they didn't have a table (it's quite small), but they brought us down to a wine bar at the end of the street, and then came and got us when a table was ready (about... Last night was the second time we went to Le Virage. Though we had high expectations from our first visit, it was no let down at all. The service was good, we had an excellent bottle of Rioja and the food as if it came straight out of heaven. Everything was prepared with love to the detail and all flavours... More

This restaurant is a true pearl!! Decoration will make you feel like you travelled to a small French café, wines are beautiful but the food is the real star of the show. Beautifully presented, the subtle flavours are exquisite!!! The staff is very friendly, it's an address I really recommend!

We had one of the best meals in Maastricht. Located in the old part. Food was delicious; we all ordered different dishes and no one was disappointed. Set menu and a-la-carte available.

We went to le Virage because it has a high position on Trip Advisor. We live in Maastricht and use Trip Advisor when we are on holiday. This experience makes that I do not trust Trip Advisor as I used to do. I was surprised to see the high position because we never heard before that le Virage was such... More

The food at Le Virage is very good. The restaurant is quaint and fairly small, but this is fine. It's a kind of a mix of a Dutch building, with French food. I liked it. We were seated no problem without a reservation, and the service was good. The waitress that served me spoke good English too. I wasn't offered... More

Unassuming restaurant, we called in on the off chance that they had a table for four. A drink at the bar while a table was prepped provided a very nice glass of merlot and beer served in wine glasses. Set menu and a la carte available. Sole, scampi and beef steak starters were delicious, fresh and full of flavour. Sole,... More
