Last night was the second time we went to Le Virage. Though we had high expectations from our first visit, it was no let down at all. The service was good, we had an excellent bottle of Rioja and the food as if it came straight out of heaven. Everything was prepared with love to the detail and all flavours... More

This restaurant is a true pearl!! Decoration will make you feel like you travelled to a small French café, wines are beautiful but the food is the real star of the show. Beautifully presented, the subtle flavours are exquisite!!! The staff is very friendly, it's an address I really recommend!

We had one of the best meals in Maastricht. Located in the old part. Food was delicious; we all ordered different dishes and no one was disappointed. Set menu and a-la-carte available.

We went to le Virage because it has a high position on Trip Advisor. We live in Maastricht and use Trip Advisor when we are on holiday. This experience makes that I do not trust Trip Advisor as I used to do. I was surprised to see the high position because we never heard before that le Virage was such... More

The food at Le Virage is very good. The restaurant is quaint and fairly small, but this is fine. It's a kind of a mix of a Dutch building, with French food. I liked it. We were seated no problem without a reservation, and the service was good. The waitress that served me spoke good English too. I wasn't offered... More

Unassuming restaurant, we called in on the off chance that they had a table for four. A drink at the bar while a table was prepped provided a very nice glass of merlot and beer served in wine glasses. Set menu and a la carte available. Sole, scampi and beef steak starters were delicious, fresh and full of flavour. Sole,... More

Le Virage is at a junction and there are a group of restaurants here, so there's a great atmosphere before you sit down. The menu is extensive and everything we had was tasty. We draw particular attention to the tempura scampi starter, but it was all good, and the waitresses are charming and friendly. Again, there is a special menu... More

I went here for a work dinner and had a fixed menu, but it was so good. I had the bacon and egg salad, scampi risotto, DELCIOUS chips, and a fabulous icecream sunday. With flowing wine, great service, central location, and a local-feel, I would definitely go back eat here.

Very friendly service and good atmosphere. Food presentation impeccable but quality variable. Some excellent dish like tartare and pheasant with truffles other not so good like shrimp croquettes (banal) and venison (chewy and tasteless) Creme brulée: super. An English menu would help and save a lot of time when ordering. We paid $140 for 3 starters 1 main course 1... More
