Very good quality food on a nice spot

This restaurant is located right next to the canal; we chose to dine there on a nice sunny day and we sat outside. Service was excellent. The menu was interesting but not as extensive. We had nice local beer and had Angus beef steak, which was very tasty and was accompanied with mashed potatoes... read more

It's an OK restaurant, nothing more, nothing less. Good: lovely atmosphere, great service, nice location. Bad: of 6 dishes eaten, 3 had major flaws: the starter had dried up ravioli which was cold. The main had the pork cooked too much, dried up and annoying. The extra starter (meat rolls) was just tasteless. The other 3 dishes were fine (cheese... More

I've been there several times over the last few years. This restaurant is consistently good, whether you visit with a group or as a couple. The menu changes regularly with the seasons and I particularly like it in the autumn, when the game season starts. Prices are very reasonable for this standard of cooking. On my recent visit I had... The restaurant is very nice, located in a central position on the main canal. The food is nice and the people are friendly. The menu varies during the year, but overall is good. Some dishes might be a bit overpriced for what you get, but the quality is always good and they all taste as well. A nice place for... More

A lovely atmosphere and excellent service. The first time we chose a la carte, and the halibut was delicious and not expensive. On the second visit we had the surprise menu of four courses with a different wine for each course, and everything about it was terrific - a long and relaxed meal with lots of variety and all of... We visited the restauarant with a group of 30 people. The starters we already had elsewhere and we had about one hour before we had to go to the next location for our dessert. We just had a very good time. The food was of good quality and in a good variation. We had our dinners and drinks at the... More

We visited Diep on the second day of Chrismas to grab a quick bite. Even though we hadn't made a reservation and the restaurant was packed because of Christmas, the staff was very friendly and luckily they just had a table for two. The waiter brought us the special 3-course Christmas menu, but as we were very late (20 hrs)... More

I have eaten here a couple of times with colleagues. The service and kitchen are good, and the restaurant interior has a warm atmosphere.

Great service; good food - nice choice: from small to larger dishes and salads; including veggie dishes - the house wines are very good. Nice ambiance - I come here at least 1-2x per month already for 2 years. No complaints. Sorry that Mark - our top-host has left!

We enjoyed our meal very much, the food was interesting and all four of us enjoyed our choices. We had a window table overlooking the canal which was very atmospheric. The restaurant was not very busy, being a Tuesday night, but the service was quite slow, almost an hour between first and second course. Overall would eat here again.
