Excellent, really excellent

There is no downside to this restaurant. The menu is prix fixe, course by course wine accompaniments are offered. Two of us had a remarkable meal for 120 euros including (much) wine. Service is attentive but languorous; the staff is charming, the room is nice. I'd happily eat here every month... read more

Had a great dinner with friends in Voila. Voila serves a fixed 5-course menu for a very reasonable 38,50 euro. The dishes were all delicious; fine-dining quality with a bit of fun and excitement in them. The produce is sourced organic and locally. Service was very good. Definitely coming back!

Great place to visit if you have some money to spent. You cannot just walk in, you have to make a reservation and tell them your diet requirements like vegetarians or allergies and how many courses you would like. They don't have a menu, so everybody eats the same thing. Therefor they can order the exact amount of products they... More

Voila is one of my favorite restaurants in Groningen! Emphasis on organic and local products of the season. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food of high standards and prepared with a lot of creativity. The surprise menu takes the whole evening so would recommend starting a bit early.

Had dinner here with a befriend couple. The wine menu suited the dishes very well. The dishes were all properly sized and well balanced. Highly recommended! Do make a reservation timely.

This i definitely a place to explore in the city of Groningen. Just at the border of the citycenter ( near the Academisch Ziekenhuis) a small restaurant , with professional staf in a cosy atmosphere. We ordered the surprise 5 course menu. Nice protioned. Comes woth an amuse, a soup , meet or fish, some cheese and a tastefull desert.... More

Probably I had too high expectations after the many excellent reviews from the web and from some friends. Somehow, the night I went, I was a bit disappointed, both for the service, very slow, and for the choice of dishes/wines. Maybe it was just a bad night, so I will try it again.

Whether it was the excellent lighting, astounding service, or sublime food, Voila is truly a revelation. The culinary experience of Voila is unique. A lifetime of connoisseuring prepares you little for the surprises this genuine passion for presentation, uniqueness, and fine taste this restaurant possesses, yields. The menu, tenderly and symmetrically prepared, is broad despite how particular it is. The... More

We had good expectations on this restaurant and, when we arrived and they asked if we had any food that we didn't like or tolerate, we said no. I have to say that every time they described the ingredients, it looked like it was going to be something we didn't particularly like, but no! They manage to finely mix different... More

This is me and my gf's go to place when we want to go and have an amazing dinner. We always accompany our dinners with the wines they recommend and have never been disappointed. The personal attention from the waiter always feels very nice. And it's just a fun cozy place that you can come to time and again.
