Outstanding dishes and service. Very familiar environment, yet high end standards. The fantastically prepared food is always accompanied by the perfect wine combination. Completely satisfied

Dining in a living room setting in a very small restaurant (when we were there there were 4 tables, 10 persons) in the heart of the old city of Groningen is a special experience. So was the food prepared by Alsace born chef Hengge. No over the top cooking, but simple, yet delicious food. Accompanied by great wines in (if... More

Muller has sized down, only 6-8 guests /evening. Chef Jean Michel Henge cooks and serves himself (and discusses the food and wines with the guests). There is a set menu only, which fills the evening with several courses, with all wines, water, coffee as you like included all for (a hefty) 140 euros pp. Classic french dishes with foie gras... What a fun place. Everything done by owner-chef, a set menu, so be sure to specify any dietary requirements. Wonderful explanations of the food by chef, and delightful wines accompanying every course. Quite expensive but definitely special, so go for a celebration. Only serves around 10 people max every evening. Reservations a must.

Excellent French restaurant. The owner does it all by himself without personel. You have to make a reservation and the maxium number of guests is about 10 per evening.

As this is-or was I'm not sure-the only Michelin starred restaurant in town we had to check it out. So we did and found it to be fantastic. Mind you, this was in 2007..Meanwhile the chef has changed things around and it's stricly him in the kitchen and service these days; private dining so to say for a small number... More

Just tried this restaurant last week for the first time - even though it's been around here in Groningen for quite some time, and so have I! The owner recently changed the format, making this a real 'living-room' restaurant with just 3 tables, each of which can seat only four guests. This made for a very personalized, peaceful and relaxed... More

When in Groningen, you absolutely need to visit Muller. The owner and chef is from the Alsace and you can taste this in every course. The ballotine of foie gras is a must. Best restaurant in Groningen. I had a fantastic meal here in February and it was worth every penny.

Visited once. Very nice food. Had various dishes, which was delicious and served with creativy. Really high class. They did a good job explaining the menu including wine list and made sure, that we felt comfortable there. Food to the heavy-solid side - so not a place I would come every week. Also because it was expensive. But absolute worth... More

So what do you want from a restaurant? If the answer is a night and food to remember then go to Muller and bring good company! The restaurant decor and atmosphere is relaxed and reeks quality. The service was professional, unobtrusive and helpful. None of that fawning fake behaviour you get in places where they just haven't a clue what... More
