This is a very friendly pub with absolutely outstanding value for money meals. I have heard so many people say it is one of the best Sunday lunches they have ever had, and believe me, not only do I enjoy the food at this establishment I also drink there on a regular basis.

We ate here because we were staying at a campsite close by and got fed up of barbecue food. The place was friendly and cosy, if a bit dated. The food was good, but pretty average fayre. Not bad value.

Called at this restaurant after a day at Oakwood theme park on Wednesday the staff were polite and we were quickly served, they took time with the children 7 and 11yrs. a member of staff came and apologized for the delay with the food and gave us a free drink as an apology. The food came and it was excellent. We... More

It has the makings of a great pub but needs to spend out on some updating in toilet areas. Also waiting staff, apart from one girl, lack any personal charm and put a dampener on the evening. The food was very nice but my husband was a bit shocked to discover that chips and vegetables were all extra. This made... More

Well. Those that praise the food on here MUST shop at Icelands and holiday in Minehead! That's a little unfair, elements of the food were nice. Here is a time account of our experience: The menu is basic, slightly old fashioned, and the service comes with a somber teenage unhappiness. On the plus side we were spoilt for the teenage... More

The Dial Inn is decent enough for an evening meal if not a bit frustrating for a foodie. The interior is clean if not a bit fussy in a 1970s sort of way. The Landlady was very pleasant and hard working who reminded me a bit of a conscientious seaside B&B owner. The sort of person that is the backbone... More

We visited on the recommendation of a previous reviewer. We had a friendly and welcoming reception from George and were taken to our table. There was an extensive choice on the menu and on the specials board. Steaks were cooked to order and were served exactly right. The batter on the fish was crisp and a curry was customised to... Doesn't look promising as you walk in but don't let this put you off. Two of us had steaks which they thought were delicious with tasty accompaniments and one had a large piece of cod in crispy batter. My salmon in mushroom and garlic sauce was cooked perfectly and we were given a large dish of very hot chips to... More
