I was definitively impressed by the paintings on the walls, amazing. On the other hand I found the food and service quite average especially that this is not a cheap place to eat so I expected higher service level. Maybe it was bad luck with our waiter because we read reviews about the restaurant before eating there and thought it... More

This is a typical stylish Swiss restaurant. Went there 2x during our stay. Service outstanding, food memorable what you think of in a classic restaurant.

The world-renowned Restaurant Kronenhalle prides itself on the finest European cuisine with an international menue. Set in the heart of Zurich, dining with true artwork around the entire restuarants.

Very , very fine elegant "old world" restaurant. The food and service are superb. The artwork amazing! One of my favorite restaurants in Zurich. No outdoor dining ; best when the occasion calls for exquisite indoor dining.

This is truly one of the great restaurants of the world, from the original Chagall and Picasso paintings on the wall, to the impeccable service, to the fabulous food. We split the rack of lamb, which comes with potatoes, onions, mushrooms, cauliflower broccoli, and others Absolutely great. About half is served to you, and the other half is kept warm.... More

We just ate there last week. We were with people that live in Zurich, The food and service was excellent. I had read that the veal with mushrooms was their specialty and it was excellent. Be aware the serving is very large. They serve you half of it while keeping the other half warm. So don't think you are finished... More

This restaurant has good art on the walls as its main claim to fame. The food is also very fine. Centrally located.

Kronenhalle is a must visit when in Zurich. The paintings on the wall are more famos and valuable than in probably the most museums in the world. The cuisine is very Swiss, you get in two parts - so the meal isn´t cold when you come to finish. As Kronenhalle is a Zurich legend, try the culinary legend: Geschnetzeltes. If... More

One of a kind restaurant where you can enjoy high-quality traditional menu in a museum-like setting - the paintings that are casually hung on the walls are genuine works by Chagall, Picasso, and Miró! The service is formal, professional, and the menu is great. It is on the slightly pricier side, but worth the experience as a local or a... More
