Friendly Italian flair middle of the city

Stylish interior, friendly 'simpatico' service from the Italian staff. I had spinach ravioli which was delicious, the rest of the family had pizza. Decently priced, super thin, absolutely delicious. If you are a pizza fan, this is the place to try.....and so central! Bon appetito!

This Italian restaurant probably has the pits pizzas in town,. However, the service is always incredibly bad. And they don't even improve and get worse. Today we went again. First, they hadn't prepared our table although we hard booked and got a confirmation in writing. Second, they took incredibly long to ask us what we want to eat, and they... More

The visit was a disappointment: from the spontaneous placement next to the entrance to the unnecessary businesslike waiter, given a room that was half empty at 8 pm. The Gnocchi Bolognese was clearly not cooked in the kitchen. The dish was served unhappily, and the sauce widely lacked meat. The coffee, nevertheless, was excellent.

I meet with friends at Golosone for many years now. I compare any pizza with Golosone's since. There's not much to like since I know how a Pizza really should be made. Don't be distracted with small tables and service. Order and enjoy! I have the Prociuto & Fungi every time, thank you!

The restaurant Golosone-Bar (not to be mixed up with the "Il Golosone" in the Loewenstasse) directly at the Stauffacher in Zurich opened early June 2014. We found a nice and modern interior in dark colors. Service has been very friendly despite German or English language skills were not the best. We ordered lunch and it came quickly. Portions were not... More

Pizza is consistenly delicious but service has an edge of coldness and aloofness. Really hard to get the bill right away...waiters provide it only when THEY are ready.

Used to go there already 10 years ago, and still one of the best pizzas in town. They are large, thin, not overloaded, but with good quality ingredients and made the real Italian way. The pizza with raw ham and Gorgonzola you will not find everywhere, and it is delicious. The Tiramisu fatto in casa (home made) comes in a... More

Il Golosone is the place to go if you want good pizza - especially if you like delicious thin and crispy crust. I wouldn't recommend the pasta and the service can be very slow at peak lunch and dinner hours. Just be sure to allow enough time and you'll be glad you did once the pizza arrives at your table.... Reasonably priced for Central Zurich (20chf for a large pizza), it is a good place for an after-shopping meal. It is located right behind Jelmoli, 2min from Bahnhofstrasse. I must admit, the service was scatty, not very attentive and slow at times but hey, you give and you take. So yes - for a relaxed meal. No - for a... More
