Didi's Frieden is our favorite place in Zurich so far. The food was amazing, the ambience charming, and the service impeccable. We ordered the set menu (4 course) which included a perfectly poached cod, a carne crudo with broth, a wild boar cutlet and sausage, and a cheese course. We were totally stuffed but every bite was worth it. We... More

I have been a couple of times and the experience always warrants another visit. The ambiance is fancy but inviting and not stuffy. Most importantly, the food is amazing. On this visit, I sampled the crispy skin wild boar for lunch which was exceptional. The chocolate fondant was also out of this world and beautifully presented. Recommend without hesitation.

Eight of us had dinner here on a girls' weekend in Zurich. The food was amazing. I had the tompinambour (Jerusalem artichoke) soup for starters which was delicious. The setting was beautiful, especially their chandelier made with wine glasses!

I was there with my buty. We realy enjoed the ambience from the restaurant. A warm welcome we get and a friendly seat placement as well. Also the waiters where very friendly. The price is salted but you get what you pay (in our case).

We found this place wandering around the Zurich train station. We didn't have a reservation and the place was full so we sat at the bar. One of the waitresses hung up our coats which was a nice touch. Once we has ordered our meals, the kitchen gave us a free tasting appetizer trio which was excellent. Our main courses... More

We arrived at 6pm and were the only diners in the restaurant. The waitress was helpful and attentive. Our first course (main, no starter) arrived in good time. The restaurant then started to fill up fast. The food was tasty and well-cooked. On finishing, our plates were taken from us and we were looking forward to dessert. I cannot manage... More

We had previously seen this on a visit last year but foolishly didn't go. Oh what a mistake that was! This is an absolute treasure. The menu was small but ample, clearly driven by the seasons and fresh produce. You can go for a la carte or they have a fixed price 4/5 course menu. We went a la carte. A... More

I stopped here on the last day of a business trip in Zurich, for lunch. I was on my own so I sat at the bar. The menu was in German; however, the hostess (or maybe she was a manager) verbally translated the entire menu for me--how nice is that?! With the lunch menu you receive soup or salad with... More

Wonderful food in aesthetic and artistic presentation. A pure enjoyment for the tongue and eyes. In addition, each of us (in a group of 30 people) got a personalized Christmas desert decoration! That was incredible!
