Classic Swiss Fondue

Had a lovely traditional Swiss luncheon in a cozy setting. The fondue was classic. Enjoyed the field green salad as a lighter side

I've been to the Dezaley a couple of times and it always does a great job if you want to eat a great Fondue! Really great. I also recommend the "Zuger Kirschtorte" as a desert! Only downsize: Quite pricy for the value. But I still recommend the restaurant and I would return!

I have been to Dezaley many times. If you want good cheese fondue and not leave town it is the best I have had and conveniently located. I have tried a few of the other dishes but they tend to be rather middle-of-the-road. So, my recommendation is to only go if you want cheese fondue. The reason I give Le... More

Historic restaurant in old town that features fondue. Highly recommend the Kase cheese fondue - great blend of local cheeses. Also had the mixed meats fondue as well. Waiter was attentive but this is a very popular spot and highly recommend a reservation. Only negative was that we were rushed out as soo n as we finished. I understand being... More

We visited the restaurant in New Year's Eve in order to try the fondue after reading the reviews. We had booked a table in advance. The restaurant is very easy to find and we really enjoyed our dinner. We had a meat fondue and a cheese fondue, an air-dried ham board which were all delicious. The deserts were not something... We went there with friends with whom we go always somewhere else every year. They have a small selection of styles you can chose: classic or with morels. Had both and the one with morel was better for my taste. The wine was a white one from Valais and matched good with the cheese. All in all it was a... More

When in Switzerland you have to try a fondue at least once and our hotel recommended this place as they heard we'd never tried one. Easy to find, table ready when we arrived and a kind, helpful and multi-lingual server guided us to a steak-based fondue set menu, which was delicious. Certainly not cheap, but nothing in Switzerland is. Highly... More

Cheese fondue. What an experience. Try that if you visit this famous place. Book your table in advance. We visited in weekend and place was fully booked. We recommend this place.

We were looking for a good traditional (in so far as fondue isnt so typical of Zurich) restaurant and located 3 options in the old town, this one having the greatest history and a nice atmosphere. The fondue hit the spot but wasn't anything out of this world, in spite of a long wait for tables. Of greater concern though... More

It is very well located, just beside the main church of the city, in the old town. It has a Swiss tradicional menu, but you have to try the traditional cheese foundue. Dont forget to ask for the potatoes and mini onions. Enjoy!
