Interesting experience that you should try in Zürich

This is a trendsetter venture that is today highly successul. You are served & guided by those who are visually challenged & gives you an insight into their world. You would be surprised at their ability to manage things in perfect harmony where light is absent & its all about sound & taste... read more

Eating in the dark can be really scary for some people. I didnt feel at ease in the beginning but at the end i really liked this experience. Staff is really nice and helpful to make you feel more comfortable. Food is ok but you dont go there for the food, rather for the experience.

This was such an amazing experience! We ate in complete darkness and were served by waiters who were either blind or visually impaired which made us really appreciate our sight. We ordered the surprise menu and it was delicious and quite expensive, but we were more than happy to pay that for such an incredible experience.

This place is totally dark restaurant!! NO light whatsoever. In fact, you must surrender anything which gives even the hint of light - watches, mobile, etc. Food is served by served by blind and partially vision impaired people. Makes you appreciate the gift of vision, which most of us is taken for granted. The food is fairly general, but the... More

I've been to 'Blinde Kuh' a few times over the years. It's THE experience... if you don't mind not seeing anything you eat. The restaurant is completely pitch black. Once you enter from the foyer, where you're still able to see and order your food, it gets darker and darker until there is absolutely nothing to see. You are guided... More

Seemed scary, at first. We entered a beautiful traditional Swiss house (lovely garden in front). The menu was listed on the wall, and a nice receptionist explained us what the procedure is. We got introduced to our waitor, Attila, and he took us to, well, dark room. What happened there was amazing: a wholle lotta good food combined with whole... More

i heard a lot about this restaurant and wanted to go there for years. i just got the opportunity and booked a table for 2, knowing we would possibly share our table. At the entrance of the hotel there is the weekly menu listed, plus there is a piece of paper with a daily menu. Also you have the possibility... More

If you are looking for a restaurant that serves gourmet food you can stop reading as this is no such place. If you are out for an extraordinary experience then this is it. I find it very unique and special to be led and guided by blind waiters. Staff is charming and helpful. To sum it up: an eye opener!

We had a group dinner, and one of our friends made a reservation in Blinde Kuh. I was not familiar with the concept and I must admit it was a bit scary first. However, as soon as we arrived there, the guy at the reception was so nice and welcoming that I even went for the total surprise menu. This... More
