Located in the centre of Zurich, on the main shopping street Bahnhofstrasse next to Paradeplatz, Zeughauskeller is an excellent restaurant. I always recommend this restaurant as the place itself is very unique, the food is very well presented and excellent. The service is fast and very efficient, the waiters are friendly and all speak very good English. The menu is... More

Large choice of classics (sausages, Zürich style veal, ...) and beers. Food is good and atmosphere very lively ! Nice if you're in town and have visitors from abroad. Booking in advance is recommended! The "schweinshaxe" is great!!

This is a huge old armoury in the centre of Zurich which is great for visitors to Zurich. Service is fast as there is always a queue waiting however service is still friendly and accomodating. Food: a carnivores delight! The menu is huge! It is a little limited for fish eaters or vegetarians. My fish was extremely salty and my... More

We loved the place so much that we went there twice for dinner. Located easily just a couple of steps off the main street - Google map it rather than me describing it here :) We had the beef with mushroom sauce and rosti and on the other day it was a steak with mash potatoes. Both were great! Salads... More

As an old armory dating back to before Columbus discovered America, history abounds. Even William Tell's bow and arrow! Enjoyed 2 wienerschnitzel with a side of apples with rosti potatoes and house wine. Total came to US$115 for two. The veal also called "Veal Milanese" by our charming Italian dinner table guests, was huge. The grilled beef on a sword... More

The restaurant offers many typical Zurich courses. I had a really good Wiener Schnitzel served with a generous servin of great and well cooked Rosti. Wooden Tables with paper towels and easy service.
