One of our best vegetarian meals in Switzerland. Located right in the center of the city. The soup was just mind blowing. Highly recommended if you are in this area. The desert was however not that great compared to the main course. We were a large group but the service was pretty good. One interesting fact - this place was... More

Get abroad on tram either no. 6 or 7, or 11, or 13 and get off at Paradeplatz station and walk back just a little and you will see the restaurant on the opposite side of the road. We arrived at the restaurant around 5:30 p.m., on a weekday which I thought was pretty early for dinner. To my surprise,... More

This place tops in food quality and service. Decided to crash in here after a walk and as you know food in Switzerland is expensive. My wife and I decided to give it a try at this place. The time was about 5pm and oh my the place was nearly filled. The service was great despite the crowd. Every attention... More

Friendly, freaky fast service. Very friendly staff. Historic building and excellent location. We were there for a day and wanted to experience local cuisine. We stumbled into this place after noticing not too many restaurants in the downtown area. Loved it!! We were seated at a table with a family of four, I guess they try to turn tables and... More

Busy bustling cavernous beer keller serving great Swiss/German food on packed tables with bags of atmosphere. Expect meat, potatoes and lots of beer. Of course there is something for everyone and they do it well. If you are a couple then expect to share a table with strangers but adds to the atmosphere. Great place to sample if you are... More

Great evening here with my partner, we were seated quickly and served efficiently and enthusiastically. The bierhaus feels old but a bit touristy but the food is perfect and what we needed after a long day exploring the Old Town and Bhanhof Strasse.. I had a meat platter with Beef, Pork and Veal steak, sausage and bacon, served with the... More

This is the best stop to stop in all Zurich. A bit hard to find the first time, but now it is a permanent stop on my list.

I loved the atmosphere of this place. The food is good, but not for gourmans. The beer and the sausages are also very good. Strongly recommend this place.

Dropped by for lunch based on recommendation from Peter, tour guide from Best of Switzerland Tours. Did not disappoint. Food was great, servers were friendly and although the place was relatively full, we were whist off to a table pronto and the food came quickly. Will definitely be coming back for more.

Very nice casual ambiance. Food was good with hearty portions. Menu is extensive with a good selection of beers. Will definitely visit again.
