Excellent swiss restaurant

Excellent restaurant to visit while you are in Zurich. Very good service in the language you prefer as well as menus in different languages. Food comes fast and is very tasty.

We wanted to try authentic Swiss cuisine and we were so happy to try this place. We had "fresh veal liver pan fried in butter" and "sliced veal in creamy white wine sauce" both came with "hash brown Swiss style" and everything was so delicious! Especially, the liver was so tender and tasty!!! Highly recommended!!!

Best German food ever, you need reservations and it's very crowded and noisy but worth it, the restaurant is in an old artillery storage building dating back to the 14th century, you need to go here for dinner.

This was a Rick Steves' book recommendation and a very good one at that. The recommended signature dish was Kalbsgeschnetzeltes which is diced veal with mushrooms in cream based sauce; it was great; my wife had asparagus soup which was a whole meal for her. Found 500ml bottle of wine for 20 CHF so all that was OK; they had... More

If you want a classical German/Swiss restaraunt when you visit Zurich check out this place. Our family had a great dinner of schnitzel and cordon bleu with plenty of house beer on tap and wine. We really liked the atmosphere inside and prices for Zurich are reasonable for what you get. This is not 5 star dining but great place... More

This is a restaurant which is nearly a fast food style, but with quality food and services. I haven't book with my wife and luckily seat as i went before 7pm. I can see lot of table reserved. We order the pork and beef which is in large size and good taste. Besides, we order a house beer. From order... More

The food was only acceptable. I have been to nicer places at a much more reasonable price. The service was not attentive and the food was mediocre. It's a nice venue and it has a nice bathroom.

This restaurant is situated at one of the most expensive locations or even THE most expensive location in the whole world: Zurich Paradeplatz. Yet the price for food is lower medium range for Swiss standards, rather a bargain. Surrounded by original Swiss decor, including a legendary Oerlikon anti-aircraft gun you can chose among some typical Swiss foods. Order the "sword"... More

Nothing out of the ordinary but if you're looking for some traditional Swiss cuisine, you can't really go wrong with the Zeughauskeller. Also the prices stayed more or less ok even though this restaurant is recommended in pretty much every Zurich guide out there.

The restaurant is in an old armory, with high decorated ceilings and plenty of atmosphere. It is noisy and busy. Patrons are seated wherever there is room, so you will likely share a table with others. The menu selection is large and Swiss, and they serve beer and wine. The asparagus soup was excellent and the sausage and potato salad... More
