Favourite eatry in Zurich

Every time I am in Zurich I make sure I visit this place. The restaurant has cozy feeling. I usually have veal in Zurich style. This time my husband and I thought of having soups there. Amazing Tomato soup. You cannot miss it if you are planning to visit this restaurant. Desserts were equally good.

What a great find! Tucked away in one of the narrow alleys in old Zurich, the Veltliner Keller exceeded our expectations in every way. Conveniently situated less that a couple of minutes walk from ParadePlatz, the restaurant which has been in existence for centuries is styled in typical Swiss mode with wooden interior and nicely spaced tables making for a... Great food, fantastic attentive service - keep an eye out for the door (blink and you'll miss it). Try the crepe suzette.

i was a guest of colleagues at this lovely old restaurant. The wait staff was multi-lingual (of course). The menu was extensive, the food very good. One of the bottles of red had to be sent back (it was off) which was handled no fuss, no muss. Although it was early in the season, we were offered white asparagus either... More

We only had one night in Zuirich so we researched thoroughly to find an authentic Swiss restaurant that was not a tourist trap. Zurich is also very pricey. We walked from the hotel near the Hauptbahnhoff, in the rain, toured a church and arrived for an early dinner. The building is 15th century which is humbling. It is lovely inside... More

This is a traditional Swiss restaurant in the center of the old town of Zurich, just below the St. Peter church. It's well known for high quality meals. Starter was a nice tuna carpaccio, followed by a veal steak with mushroom and noodles, which were all deliciously cooked. As desert I had a tarte au pommes flambée avec Calvados, which... More

The food and service at this long standing institution is consistently excellent. Come hungry because most entrees come with two helpings of Swiss service. We can vouch for Beef Stroganoff, Calf Liver Venetzia, and Sole Bonne Femme in this regard. Marry those to outstanding starters and a super wine list and you have an authentic 5 Star experience.

I have been traveling to Zurich on business and pleasure for 50 years, starting out when I was a child traveling with my parents. And I love Zurich! I have dined in probably 50 of its restaurants, cafes and zunfthaus's, and this place has always been one of my favorites in Zurich and really the world. In fact, today it... More

This out of the way but centrally located restaurant will surprise you with it's quaint and beautiful traditional decor and menu. Traditional food served elegantly and with style. Take your time and enjoy dining as it used to be...no rush..just a pleasant experience!

Hidden in the old town this restaurant is well worth seeking out. A usually quiet atmosphere with excellent service and classic cusine.
