Wonderful treat by a master chef

We arrived just as the restaurant closed. The Chef himself said he would cook for us what he could as he had already dismissed the staff. What a wonderful unexpected experience. Very pretty romantic place. Food was super; the best veal I ever had. He also selected a good local Syrah (Swiss wines... read more

The place was full but we managed to get a table after a wait. The food was good, unfortunately they had run out of some dishes. Overall, I think it was a nice experience in a cozy place.

Classic Swiss food with a creative twist, this is basically the summary of what you should expect at Lindenhofkeller. The ingredients are of the highest quality, and the genius of the chef combines these in a succulent way. The chef himself presents you the menu and how he went on every dish, this is a wonderful thing that is rare... More

Yes, Switzerland and Zurich especially are on top of the expensiveness list, but in fact you do get what you pay for. The food was excellent, the staff was helpful and nice and knew what they were doing. The setting is very romantic and comfortable and you have enough space to sit and eat as well. The restaurant has good... More

I ate here many years ago and it was outstanding and extremely friendly so we were in Zurich and I thought we should try it again. It was very good but the portions were small for the very large prices. I must admit I found Zurich to be overpriced altogether. The veal medallion signature dish was really outstanding. The junior... More

Perfect Swiss restaurant. The food is everything I'd wanted for the visit and the service was the utmost of professionalism. Location fantastic. I hope to go back.

The end of a beautiful sunny day in Zurich and four of us went for dinner in the Lindenhofkeller. Well what a delight. The service was excellent, the head chef talked us through the menu and made his recommendations which we pretty much followed. Lobster bisque to start, veal loin for main and creme brûlée to finish. Others had pate... More

We were at the Lindenhofkeller for lunch. The restaurant is very centrally located. We sat in the centre courtyard. The food was good one of the dishes ordered had to be returned to the kitchen as it was over done and was replaced with a perfect one. It was a good experience. The service was effecient

Ate outside in the courtyard. Menu was introduced in English by owner / chef. Food was well executed traditional fare. Kind of hard to find though!

We ate at the Lindenhofkeller at least the 5th time now. The owner and chef-cook René and his beautiful wife are doing a fantastic job. In a very nice location you can enjoy a perfect evening. The portions are not to big and not to smal, the wine selection is outstanding and the service staff is very discret and warm.... More
