Best sushi in Zurich. No discussion. Of couse this makes it a popular place, so reservations are a absolute must. Love it!

Our start in that restaurant was not the best. We were sitting at the convey belt, by the entrance, as we were told everything else was taken. It appeared later it was not the case, so that was a bit frustrating. Additionally, we were not told that there was a restaurant at the back, asked for a card showing additional... More

god it's difficult to find good sushi in zurich. it's not just a problem with the fish you see. from what i understand, they actually require sushi restaurants to use frozen fish nowadays, at least in most european countries that is. it's also the rice - no restaurant in switzerland I've been to seems to be able to get it... We waited more than 50 minutes to have our plate to share at table.. The waitress let a novice waiter take care of our table, the Chef is incredebly slow... The Food was goog but pricy. Our recommandation : book only at the bar or go to an other place

I had their menus there - what a waste of money! Food is so average - nothing special at all. And on top of things the portions are so small, that after eating the menu for 90 CHF or so, you end up staying hungry anyway!

The Ginger is still some kind of "wanna-be-hipster"-place, but since the quality of the food used to be good part of it and the service sucked, now unfortunately the service exceeds the food quality - in terms of price to quality ratio. The quality of the fish might still be ok, the quality of the sushi became bad. Taste wise... More

We ordered a mix of hot food and sushi from the menu (we did not sit at the conveyor belt sushi bar). Both were excellent and tasted genuinely Japanese and very fresh. We were served a complementaru glas of Sake. The restaurant is quite small and with simple but modern decor.

Great sushi. Prepared by friendly chef. 62 degree eggs are great so is the tuna tartar. Best to reserve as it gets very busy.

We have received a voucher from friends for our wedding. As we have been in Zurich we just wanted to see. But we have been told off by two staff members: normal people make a reservation. We have been treated as if we are really bad people. I have then asked to return my money for the voucher. We will... More
