With its aura of La Belle Epoque, the Lipp is a cult site for French brasserie style cuisine. You can find it in the heart of Zurich. The restaurant can accommodate 200 people indoors and 100 people outdoors. Here diners can sample fresh cuisine and enjoy the Parisian ambiance. The standard menu offers a large selection of French dishes. You can also order the dishes as takeaways - including the opened and ice-cooled oysters. French culture resonates on the wine list too. The Jules Verne Panorama Bar adjoining the brasserie Lipp is a particular highlight. Overlooking the rooftops of the city, it is the perfect place to come for lunch, an aperitif or a glass of wine from anywhere in the world.

Small piece of Paris in Zurich

This is. A really nice brasserie in true parisisn style. Oysters, seafood and champagne! Apart from this the menu offers something for almost every taste. We tried french delicatess-plate with small samples of dishes. Good choice! The Chablis was excellent! Staff knowledgable ans friendly. I'll... read more

Wonderful meal - my friend and I shared a bottle of Sancerre and raw oysters which were lovely. I then had the grilled sole with boiled potatoes. My friend had tuna tartare and we shared asparagus. The food was so delicious. Although I was full, I made room for the rhubarb crisp top with sorbet. The restaurant provided good quality... More

Very welcoming when we walked in, but the service was a turn-off. The fish was excellent, but offset by poor service. Very busy and extremely noisy - not a pleasant atmosphere, particularly for the price. Would not go back.

It's one of our absolute favorite restaurant in town. Friendly staff, quick and relaxed service and really good food quality! You need to try the cold Lipp platters, they are just delicious! You can have a drink at the Jules Verne Bar first and then go downstairs for dinner. What I really appreciate, also without a table reservation they always... More

Overall this restaurant was good. Most of those in our party enjoyed the food; although there weren't many foods that were over the top unique. We found the prices to be 2-3 times higher depending on the dish. The prices paired with the very slow waitstaff made the restaurant less enjoyable. The food was good- but a short drive to... More

It's been years since my last visit to Brasserie Lipp as I found their glasses always used to smell of seafood which was off putting when drinking water or wine. I thought after all this time it was worth trying again as the food has always been very good. The first bit of good news is their glasses don't smell... More

Had a wonderful lunch there with my daughter. The service was excellent and the food very good. The oysters were particularly delicious, if somewhat expensive. Good atmosphere and a great lunchtime venue
