I ordered the veal cheeks which happen to be the chef's specialty! It was amazing! I also got the special dessert.. Peppermint infused strawberries and sour cream ice cream... Definitely a first and it was wonderful. Overall services was good and sitting outside in the garden was perfect.

We went to Weisses Rossli based on the positive Trip Advisor reviews and availability of a table on a Saturday night and we had an absolutely fantastic meal. The restaurant is not directly in the city center itself which was fine with us but hopefully others seek this place out. The staff were very knowledgeable and pleasant and the meal... More

This is one of those restaurants you have to go out of your way to avoid because you know you'll want to eat everything on the menu. Simply stated this guy can cook! For the foodies of the world visiting Zürich, put this on your todo list and you won't regret it. The degree of care and culinary talent in... More

It looks from the outside from a throw back from the seventies. Well, it probably is. The service staff and the Cook were however just about born. The food is just good. Not good, excellent. Well, better than that. Classic in style, with good products: truffle, egg mushroom, pigeon... Service is very attentive and professional. Price are normal for Zurich... More

Recently went to Weisses Rossli after several recommendations and will have to say that the service was some of the best I have had in Zurich. It was very personable and the server and management really went out of their way to make sure our table had an enjoyable time. The food although was just ok for the price and... More

This is indeed a hidden gem - very nondescript on the outside but a lovely little garden in the back. We were served by the owner who was very nice and had excellent recommendations. Hubby had the tuna steak and I had the veal - both amazing and with a good wine list even better! Excellent value for the quality... More

We came to Weisses Rossli at 9pm on a Saturday evening, hungry, tired and despondent having been disastrously let down by another restaurant (Torkel in Liechtenstein - review to follow once restaurant has had a chance to respond personally). A local colleague of my husband had recommended 5 places we might like to try and we chose this one for... More

The food is quite simply very good. Each dish we tried was a well executed example of traditional food. My entree was gnocchi which was delicious. My main was schnitzel which was very good. I wish I'd tried the apple tart tatin. The wine was expensive, although I'm not sure this is not something which is typical of Zurich.

Each dish we had here was very well-executed (although very traditional in conception). We both had the gnocchi with sage-butter sauce as a starter. The gnocchi were perfectly cooked, fried on the outside and light and gooey on the inside. The sage leaves had been fried crisp and were delicious. My main course of veal cheeks arrived with the veal... More
