Great food for a station restaurant. Large selection of beers

We had been traveling 11 hours from London to Zurich by train. We arrived 20:00 and wanted somewhere to eat. As we were leaving the station to find a restaurant we spotted this brasserie. A spacious place with a high ceiling. A smokers restaurant. They offer an excellent selection of mediocre swiss beers. (Espcially from breweries from the eastern part of Switzerland).

Right in the station this is a busy restaurant ..their are a lot better in Zurich. Our waiter was friendly, but the food was disappointing. If you are a beer drinker there is an extensive list.

their address is very confusing but they are actually right located in the train station, very convenient for visiting. if you don't know how to order, order a bier tasting row like we did! and i believe u'll enjoy their fresh bier with various flavours as we did too! however, one thing bearing in mind, their service is very slow... My wife and I had dinner at this brasserie. Centrally located in the main railway station. Decor is typical Swiss-German railway station. That said, my wife and I enjoyed our meal. Food was quite acceptable, but average. Service was friendly, but slow. Good selection of local beers and wines. What you see ... is what you get.

There was a lot of action and the orders were flying out thick and fast, which was pleasing to see, my order and drink were prompt and tasty, having been there on a previous visit to Zurich, I decided to go again before flying out, it was well worth the return.

It's really not even close, and they have only Swiss beer. They claim 100 different beers in bottles, and they probably have this many. There is a restaurant too, but we didn't eat there. On the top level of Central Station. If you like beer, this place has to be at the top of your to-do list.

I sought this place out because it had deal to taste 7 beers for €9. It was a great way of tasting a number of beers cheaply. The downside was our initial service. Our first waiter told me that I could not drink it inside, only outside, and quite rudely. Being autumn and having a family, outside was quite cold.... More

Traditional Swiss food with a loud band to match. Nothing to complain or shout about. Decent enough to kill time whilst waiting for a train. Usual Zurich "value for money"

Fabulous busy bar/restaurant serving over 100 bottled beers, draught beers, wines, light and heavy-duty food. A great atmosphere in largely unmolested original interior design dating back to the 19th century. It seems that many, maybe even most of the clientele (at lunchtime) were not actually travelling anywhere. They may work locally, or have just come into town to meet friends.... More
