I like this place for a pizza. They have a wide variety of pizzas, burgers and pasta. I have generally only had a pizza always with cheese rim, Georgia. I am a animal of habit. If I find something I like, I tend to stay with it. Service is not bad but would not be considered very good. It is... More

We visited here for lunch and quiet enjoyed it. Great value for money as the meal portions are very large. The restaurant is cozy and it's a very nice atmosphere. Good location also. It mostly served pizza but also pasta and burgers.

I wasn't keen on going into this place - it was too bright and impersonal but we were hungry and it wasn't too busy. I know it was a pizza place but there were many burgers on the menu . I asked if they were homemade and was assured by the waiter that they were. They weren't . They had... More

Had lunch here one day, chicken burger and wedges. All very nice although I had asked for it to come without the curry mayo (seems to be a thing in Switzerland eek) and it seemed to get lost in translation so I had to scrape it off as its pretty nasty.

Had lunch around noon so the crowds were not an issue. Menu for pizza fairly extensive, three types of crusts. Service pleasant, and the turn around time from when we ordered our pizza to when it was delivered was fast. Standard pizza ( personal size ), salad and drinks $ 30 CHF. Enough for two people. It the heart of... More

We went to this restaurant for lunch and we literally chose it because it looked like it served American pizza--a known entity. We weren't very varietal in that we chose the Margherita, but we were in the mood for something simple and inexpensive (compared to all the other restaurants) and provided outdoor seating. It was a great night for pizza,... More

Sam's Pizza Land operates numerous pizza restaurants in Zurich and Switzerland - I can think of two of them in Zurich alone and one in Luzern. I had lived for many years in the US and have found that some places in the US (like Chicago, California, New York) had some really good pizza, but most (Alliance, Ohio comes to... More

I went to the restaurant with my husband and my 15 months baby and some friends. The waiters were very rude and told us to stay for 15 minutes to set a table, afterwards they got us a table and there was the thing we couldn't imagine. They wanted us to put the pram in a corner far away from... More
