GREAT LOCATION AND PLACE

We came here for breakfast after a nice walk in Old Town Zurich. Loved the character of this place, as it is 3 stories and affords you opportunity to relax and enjoy surroundings. Breakfast was good, but you MUST try their baked goods. As you walk in the door, it is a sight to see with the fresh... read more

We visited on quite a rainy day in January - was totally worth it. I had a fruit tart and prosecco (both divine) and my fiancé had a vanilla panacotta and blood orange jelly with coffee. The total price as 34CHF (around £25) which was reasonable considering how good it was. Seating is quite tricky as you have to find... More

Very charming chocolate shop and cafe. Friendly staff! Delicious hot chocolate! Much bigger inside than it looks from the street, definitely worth looking around at the different themed rooms before sitting down and ordering

The Café and Chocalte Melange is very famous and tasty and so are the pastries. the café is very crowded at all times, especially on the weekends. The interior is very tasteful and reminds me a bit of the Vienna Cafés.

Fresh sweet and savoury lunch options are available at this pretty (gorgeous decorations at Christmas) and historic cafe venue. We were served excellent coffee and the choice of delicious fresh cakes downstairs was amazing. There was wine available. The waitress was particularly helpful, offering English translations of the German menu. We didn't feel rushed despite the queue of people who... More

Cafe Schober is a very quaint and cosy place to stop for a hot drink and some delicious desserts. Yes, it can get crowded and it isn't cheap but it's well worth a visit for some tasty hot chocolate. It's a really warm place and service is friendly and quick despite being busy. I had the black forest gateau which... More

We decided to stop here during our visit to Zurich and were NOT disappointed! The decoration during Christmas time was spectacular, an ambiance unlike any other cafe! The hot chocolate with cream was wonderful, and they have an array of treats to pick from as well.

Really nice cakes in this lovely cafe with beautifully decorated tea rooms. Very cozy if you manage to find a spot in a corner - otherwise it can be a bit crowded as the place is busy. Do not come during the weekends as there is really crowded.

My husband and I found this place and it looked closed from the outside. Thankfully, some local people walked in and we followed suit. Our waiter did not speak English very well (which is obviously fine just not very common in these areas), but we managed to get everything exactly as we wanted. The place was very charming and had... I was there today and turned out to be my first meal in Switzerland. The café was fully decorated with Christmas themes. Food was delicious, coffee was outstanding and chocolate is unforgettable. Do go armed with patience since it's seems to be always packed and a queue must be done in order to have a table. Not to be missed.
