A very nice find

Just at the entrance of the old city and 5 minutes from train station. Not cheap but, based on my meal, a very nice italian restaurant. I had a good salad and very, very good pasta with an italian beer.

The food was really delicious, the place is small and cosy, lots of locals come here, often is crowdy and it is difficult sometimes to find a table. Very kind and professional staff. The only negative is the prices, for three dishes and two glasses of wine we have paid 100 euros. But Zurich is generally a very expensive city.... More

This little place had a ton of locals having lunch. We, of course had wine with the specials of the day. A young Asian kid waited on us as was very friendly..( spoke English) and entergetic. We had a great time there.

Value for money is hard to find in this very expensive city, La Pasta serves up home made pastas - spaghetti, rigatoni, tagiatelle etc etc. Add to that sauces with a host of ingredients, served up by polite, friendly staff and you have the perfect Italian recipe for an enjoyable dining experience.

Eaten here numerous times on each trip to Zurich. The food has always been top notch, in fact some of the best I have tasted. Favorite dishes are the lasagna, grilled chicken, tomato soup, berry tiramisu, panna cotta Some of their pricing is a bit high, especially at 9.50chf for a bottled water, that's a stretch. Simple chicken dish is... More

nice lunch place in a beautiful narrow street of Zurich! they have starters, home-made pasta, meat and dessert on the menu card, as well some day's menu! I took some rigatoni with a tomato-mascarpone sauce, they were delicious! I really liked the interior design of the restaurant, very modern, black chairs, wooden table, etc. the staff was very friendly and... More

I usually try to avoid eating pastas in restaurant but it was one of the main "focus" of the menu. I took tagliatelles with lemon sauce and it was simply delicious! What I didn't really appreciate however was the insistance of the owner and the server for us to take dessert. they came and asked 3 times! and we felt... More

Rude staff, 2 chf for a glass of tap water (~ £2), no atmosphere. Boring side dishes. Prawns clearly frozen in risotto. Unimaginative, unitalian and just plain sad.
