This place bakes its Turkish bread fresh, and that is its main strength. The Doerner kebab (do not expect skewered meat; this is about the industrial concoction that is shipped from some factory as a giant pile of meat to be rotated as it cooks in a vertical oven and shaved with an electric tool) was fine, but nothing special.... I walked into this little restaurant looking for a quick kebab. It was quick, but thats all the good I could say about the place. I was greated with expressions of annoyance, and when the food arrived, it was burned and the meat was primarily fat. Definitly never going there again.

Perspective from a French: common kebab and got disappointed by the service..not particularly worth to stop by. Did not really understand the relation to "original" kebab. If I had to compare to the ones in Germany, I would say that they are the original.

Found this little shop and stopped for early dinner. Must say not too familiar with style food but I had a chicken dish that was quite good. For the uneducated it was a cross between serbian chicken and cajun chicken....just spicy enough without causing grief. Very casual and friendly man in the shop....offered me a Turkish tea....but was not for... More

Very pleasant ladies working this small store front property. Will definitely return for snack or very casual meal.

Arrived before the lunch rush and dined in-house. The two young ladies working behind the counter were very friendly. After placing my order and then again after picking up my order, I anticipated paying for my meal. The young ladies told me to have a beverage and enjoy my meal and pay later. I ordered the kebab in a bread... More

We stumbled across this place while staying in Oerlikon. It is not much to behold as far as exterior and interior attractiveness and it is certainly not elegant dining. It is a very simple place. But the food is excellent and the prices are very, very reasonable. In addition, the proprietor is a very friendly and accommodating gentleman. It truly... More

It is the best kebab place in Zurich. Doggy place but quality of food is good. What makes it really special is the kebab-bread they prepare it there by themselves once the kebab is ordered. So it s fresh and warm If u go there during busy hours, (lunch) they won t be able to make the bread so probably... More

We love this restaurant, and have been going for years. All of the food is homemade, and you can see actual layers of lamb on their rotisserie, not the giant processed ‘loaf’ of lamb you find and many other kebap houses. Aside from all the usual offerings they have nice daily homemade specials like chicken with aubergine in a spicy... More
