Cheese to please

Great Raclette and Fondue restaurant. Different types of traditional Fondue available and servings are very generous. Leave your cholesterol worries at the door!. Loved it

Very small restaurant located on the far side of the Limmat River, yet most tables were available when we arrived soon after it opened for dinner. I have to say, despite its reputation as an “original” provider of Swiss fondue, neither of us found the fondue here to be better than a fondue anywhere else in Switzerland. Also, I have... More

Even though it was July when we visited Switzerland, we wanted to make sure we got fondue. Raclette Stube was an easy walk from our hotel (Marriott Zurich). There were four of us, two adults and two tweens. We started with the assorted local sausages. We got one plate of raclette and one pot of fondue. This was plenty for... More

Visiting on business from the States, we really wanted to try some good Swiss fondue while we were in Zurich. After looking at a few places we decided on Raclette Stube. We went on a Thursday evening and it wasn't too busy at all but I called ahead to make sure we could be accommodated. The fondue was amazing! I... More

My wife and I ate there on 11 May. We had to send our fondue back due to hairs on the bread we dipped in the fondue. When we saw the chef peak out of the kitchen, we noticed he was losing hair, and he wasn't wearing a hair net. The fruit for CHF 6 was out of a can,... More

We decided we must have a typical Swiss meal before leaving Zurich so did a bit of research on TripAdvisor and decided on Raclette Stube because on the whole it got very good reviews. We weren't disappointed and really enjoyed our meal. We opted to try both the Raclette and the Fondue with bread, potatoes and pickles. It was very... More

I definitely love this place! It's a cosy, little restaurant in the heart of Zurich. The fondue was fantastic, really tasty and enjoyable! Unfortunately we visit this place on our last night in Zurich, otherwise we would have come back.

This is a lovely restaurant in the historic centre of Zurich, not far from the Gross Munster Cathedral. The service was very friendly and the cheese fondue was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you are looking to try fondue in Zurich.

If you are looking for a place to have traditional raclette where they bring a raclette grill to your table and you cook the raclette yourself, do NOT come here. We came here with the intention of getting both fondue and raclette. We found out that one order of raclette was just one piece of cheese so the only option... More

Went here with some co-workers during my trip to Zurich. I really enjoyed the cheese fondue here! It was better than Swiss Chuchi IMO. My table shared one big bowl of Cheese fondue, which was good because it was enough for 4 people. We ordered the fondue w/out wine. I don't drink alcohol so it was perfect that there were... More
