I visit Lumière in Zurich probably every few weeks for dinner, and I haven't been disappointed ever since. The hosts and the service team are very welcoming and friendly, the restaurant has a great vibe inside (the outside space is in a small plaza in the old town of Zurich, so quite some foot traffic walking by). My key recommendations... More

Spent a great afternoon here at the outdoor seating area in the sun drinking several cold ones. Great location and friendly staff

When you order a risotto, and you get it on your table in less than 5 minutes, the secret of the chef is called : microwave. but this is not cooking. Add a very rude, almost aggressive service, with one single ambition, get you out of the restaurant and a rating of 2 is more than deserved

Amazing place in Old Town Zurich. The service were very friendly and the food was to die for! We had the wild garlic ravioli that was a special dish of the night and also the traditional entrecote and coq au vin! Both were delicious!!!!!!!! You have to try the desserts. We shared a lemon pie but other desserts that nearby... More

Recommended by a friend, a very quaint bistro restaurant in a small street off Bahnhofstrasse in the old town. Decorated tastefully with framed photos, the decor exudes warmth. The food was plentiful, varied and well prepared. The service was very personable, friendly and discreetly attentive. An excellent experience thanks to a team that really cares about their guests. Well worth returning.... More

Wonderfully little bistro in the old town of Zurich. Had a delightful entrecôte cafe de paris. Smart bistro atmosphere although a little cramped..... great for a casual night out ...

Good cosy atmosphere. excellent service and very good food and wines. We had 4 dishes in all. A shared truffle pasta which was very good. A steak and frites, cooked to perfection. A coq au vin - faultless. And for dessert a lemon tart which was very good (btw. best lemon tart I've had is from Victoire in Rozelle, Sydney).... More

Lumiere is delightful. It's small, intimate and tastefully decorated and the service is efficient and professional. Best of all is the speciality of entrecôte and frites which is as good as any I've eaten in Paris. A cosy atmosphere makes this charming restaurant just about perfect for a winters lunch.

Went here with a group from work. Very friendly greeting and the staff were accomodating of our organiser mis-counting the number of attendees, adding an extra table even though this was a bit of a squeeze. The dining room is small and it was full/overflowing so it was a bit noisy, however when it emptied a bit it became much... More
