Good food. Good atmosphere. Slightly slow service.

Went to eat solo on a business trip. Setting looks good for a date. Low lighting, soft sounds, comfy seating. Food was high quality, and a nice variety on the menu. Service was sort of slow for Switzerland, but I did not push it because I was relaxing over dinner with a book. Perhaps the... read more

I went Friday evening with a cousin, resident in Zurich. Got there at 1910hrs and a table was free. Atmosphere was good, it was pretty busy, and the food was excellent. I had veal and my cousin had bratwurst. For starters I had potato soup. For dessert, I had sorbet - delicious. It all came to CHF136, including two beers,... More

Very well designed restaurant and the cafe downstairs, with good atmosphere. We always bring there all our foreign visitors to enjoy the Swiss food, which (& you will wonder!) is so much more than just a fondue or a raclette.

(WARNING: I've not been upstairs but live nearby and go through the downstairs all the time). Hard to know how this place survives: must be expensive real estate and, on the ground floor, is a dark, clean and modern cafe/bakery. You can get tasty deserts but also pricey deli-type stuff. Not bad for a coffee if you're in the area... More
