Excelent Italian restaurant where you can find the best menu, good quality and at economic price. The service is very good, make people feel at home.

I totally forgot to write a review of this place which we visited on April 9, 2013 and again a few days later. The service was nice. I believe it was the season for asparagus and the soup they served us was thick and absolutely delicious. One of the best I've ever had. The pizza too was ridiculously good. Highly... More

Pizza was decent but expensive. Sat inside by bar area and it was extremely loud and dishes clattering . Kept hearing intercom from dumb waiter area. Waiter never checked on us, too busy on intercom. Might have had another beer, but too late.

The location is a little hidden.. there are no neon signs or blackboards guiding you up the narrow Ruelle du trait, which is nice. The food is very fresh and delicious. The gambas soup, very very tasty!..watercress soup also very good.. My main dish was a big fresh salad with gambas in a curry sauce.. Spot on! My husband had... More

We were recommended to dine here as newcomers to Montreux, we didn't try the pizza or pasta. T. Bone (husband) had the fillet steak, the flavor & tenderness was good it was served with ratatouille & risotto all very nice, I had the fish of the day unfortunately it was of the frozen kind, it was only OK also served... There is nothing extraordinary about this restaurant. It is just OK Italian style food. The service is friendly. The food quality is OK - and the prices are average for Montreux - which means expensive for most towns. Not bad - but not worth getting excited about...

I have eaten here many times before. The place looks as though it could be quite grand from outside - inside it is more rustic. The restaurant is variable. Food on the "seasonal special" menu tends to be expensive and my advice is to keep things simple. Basic pasta and pizzas are fine. I would recommend the cheap "open" wine (actually... More

the place is really cosy and the food was delicious. We took the minestrone and the saffron fresh pasta; very nice. The prices are the same as the average Italian restaurants in Switzerland. So we recommend the place.

I went to this restaurant for the first time with my friends and my brother. The manager welcomed us in a very friendly way. I had a Prosciutto pizza which was delicious (crispy dough) and cooked very much to my liking. The value is very reasonable (as I paid only 22 francs for my pizza and an Ice Tea). I... More

Tonight we went again to La Locanda, though it was the first time this year. We started with soup, spinach soup and a minestrone. Delicious! My husband had fresh pasta with saffron and gamba's and I had fresh pasta with capsicum and aubergines. It was really, really good. The service was very friendly and quick, but not pushy at all....
