Party of 7 for casual dinning. Have to say that I didn't expect to have fondue this time of the year, but in fact the Fondue "normal" was the best I have had for a long time - very good flavor and recommend to all that do like a strong taste. Wine selection very very Swiss - but good choices.... More

If the weather is nice sitting outdoors is the best options! You can see cows and horses around the restaurant Their food is simple but excellent god kids and adults, We celebrated many birthday parties in these place ... But also just went for a coffee and it was the same experience! Beautiful and relaxing time!

We were on our honeymoon and took an $80 cab ride to get up here ... and they were closed. $#^&! Our cab driver only spoke French and ... well lets just say we had a pretty expensive scenic drive that evening. Our hotel said they would be open but I would check and double check as its a pretty... More

This is our favorite restaurant in Lausanne area. We go there at least once every two weeks. And if we have guests, we will go there on sunday for a nice and lovely brunch. Good food from the region, good beers and if you are lucky a sunny terrasse... You have to try it, and you wont't make any mistake... More

Located outside of the city in a building looking like an old farm. Nice walking trails around. Food was really good and the staff was really friendly (Swiss classic menu made with I believe mostly local products). A little unorganized and took a while to get everything on the table but as long as you are prepared for this it... More

If you want to get out of the city (but not too far) and enjoy a laid-back simple meal, this is a good place to go. All the ingredients are locally-sourced so the menu is very seasonal and unadventurous, but good staples (chicken breast with mustard, steak, fondue, excellent salads). Very cosy place, chalet-style interior, but nicely maintained and tastefully... More

I went to the Chalet des Enfants a couple of time and was never deceived. The food is amazing, especially the beer fondue and the meringues à la double crème. Will definitely recommend to go there.

The restaurant is fine, and they have a little play table for kids, but when we came in the winter we got glares for coming in with 2 kids. We were the only people who came with kids. The play table is near a door so it's in the way of passing waiters. The waiter sneered at me when I... More
