Perfect experience to enjoy with friends

Very friendly atmosphere and amazing food. The first time I attend into such a restaurant. We tried the "menu degustation" and it was really worth it! Particularly the lamb and the chicken.

Very nice food and nice people - a piece of sunshine in Lausanne. My friend didn't like the bread and the spices, but I personally enjoyed it very much. The owner is very friendly.

..we went there to eat our fantastic lunch... ..and it was closed. No explanation, no information, nothing. As u may expect we were quite annoyed. What else can we say? I hope I will remove this review soon ... TIP: call them - we did not and we wasted our lunch

totally overrated - we were bitterly disappointed - a nightmare to go there. Expensive, Bad Service, men playing cards- no idea what they really do there!

I am happy with myself that I could have a taste of Ethiopia. I have never been to Ethiopia, but I have a strong feeling that if I were to visit Ethiopia one day, I would find very similar food. Many restaurants which cook foreign food makes some twist in the food to match the people's taste (which is not... More

Better than the well-known restaurants for Ethiopian food in London, New York and Boston. Food is fresh - you have to wait for it. Prices very reasonable for Lausanne. Service friendly and uncomplicated. The owners care about their guests.

My husband and I ate at the (new) Red Sea last Saturday evening and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We ordered vegetarian dishes 7 and 8, and both were delicious. The servings were generous, and also came with a delightful salad and portion of vegetables as well. We had read the tripadvisor reviews, and had had high expectations, but even these... More

Great food, & great service. Would definitely come again. We ordered the 15,16,&17. We also ordered the special for two. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying an authentic meal.

The food here was delicious and the host was friendly and generous. I even made friends with the table next to me and joined them for a drink after dinner. Then the host gave me an African beer to take home as a present since it was my first time in Lausanne. Definitely give this little restaurant a try. The... More
