Lots of warm cheese - in a great location

This is the best Lausanne-centric Fondue spot. It is not the best fondue on the region, but none the less the traditional/local style and the good food is great. BUT if you are bold enough to have a fondue in summer, sit outside and look up at the stunning Gothic cathedral next door.

If you wish to taste the Swiss cuisine at Lausanne having a great view of the Cathedral, this is the place to go. This cafe-restaurant has a decent variety of traditional Swiss courses, an excellent Roesti (Roesti Maison is highly recommended), reasonable prices and attracts young people (20-40 years old).

I get that choosing a restaurant at the footsteps of Lausanne's Cathedral might have not been the best idea ever but I didn't think it could be so bad. Unpleasant waiters and a waitress not only was brisk and rude but she also made sarcastic jokes on our understanding of the menu to our faces and pretend to rectify once... More

*shake my head* where to start....? I booked a table for 6 (4 adults, two 5 year old kids) a couple of months ago. I am currently pregnant and have had a difficult pregnancy and can't stand/walk much. I was dropped in front of the restaurant while the others went to park. Bare in mind that i was *clearly* showing... More

We went here as a group of 10 as a friend of us who was living here for 5 years recommended to go here for having fondue. We reserved a table to make sure we would get a spot. Fortunately we were lucky as this place got full as we arrived there. We all had fondue, and I have to... More

This small, vintage place near the cathedral is quite a polarising one, so let me put it straight: if you are the fondue type of person you would have a very good time , but if you have issues with the sharp smell getting even into your clothes or with melted cheese, you would not be able to stand it.... This is my favourite place to go for a fondue in the city centre. I've been going there 4 to 5 times per year since several years and was never disappointed by the quality of the service nor the quality of the food.

One of my favorite places for fondue in Lausanne. I particularly like the fondue "à la mode du Château de Gruyère", to which they add whipped cream. Service is also friendly. Great place for a night out with friends. It's often packed and can be quite loud though.

We had a nice dinner at this place. We were trying to find the good tomato fondue restaurant and asked one of the local people around the station and she recommended us this place. Although tomato fondue itself was very nice, I was expecting it to be more "tomaty". Staffs were all nice and price was decent as well.

Excellent if you like cheese!!! If you don't, you can eat some kind of salads, meats or fishes too. Not cheap but good food and service. Central localized next to students night zone.
