A busy homely cafe bar that has a great seating area with over stuffed seats. Dinner is great, the food being unpretentious and the wines reasonably priced. Bookings essential.......

Last night I went in this restaurant with my father for dinner. We went without reservation and there was a table outside as well. I ordered a salad with goat cheese and mushrooms and my father ordered a meat tartare. Both of them revealed to be good but their prices were not! About 30 CHF EACH! But what surprised us... More

Atmosphere: cozy with personal feeling. Scattered various chairs and armchairs, feels like someone decorated it with care and love. Eclictic mix of furniture and big view into the kitchen. Location: Centrally located a few steps from public transport including trains, but on a quiet corner of a more residential area. Food: Food is good, don;t expect a gastronomic sensation, but... This restaurant is conveniently located, just a few minutes walk from railway station. Great atmosphere, there is always crowded - restaurant attracts locals and tourists. Better to make reservation in advance. The food is very good and service is excellent.

Great food, great service and great atmospheare. I like this place very much: they offer a large choice of dishes, for dine but also for the happy hour or for customers who just want to eat some little things with a mug of coffee. Plus for the idea of make games and books availables to everyone.

It is the best salmon tartare that I have ever had. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy too, this is where I would go for a relaxing and chill night with friends. Great place for hangouts too :)

This restaurant is conveniently located, not far from the Lausanne railway station. This cafe-restaurant usually attracts young people and tourists. The atmosphere is nice inside and the interior shows character. While the prices are well above the average, I had mixed experiences with the food. Sometimes they prepare delicious dishes and they use a fairly decent portion size, while other... More

This restaurant was handy because it was close to our hotel. We arrived and the waitress showed us to a table. The room was very warm with no air conditioning. The Menu was only in French. The food was very expensive for what we got.CHF 49 for 2 Salad Starters & 2 artisian beers.Like I say very basic & overpriced.

Firstly, the restaurant do not have English menu which indicated that they do not welcome non-French speaking guests. No waiter could explain the menu to us in English. We have to use google translation to guess what each item mean. In the end, we decided on a steak, a grilled chicken and a seafood risotto. I can only say that... More

I found this cafe on Tripadvisor as a search showed it a short walk from my Lausanne hotel. It was as good as promised. I was early enough to get a single place on the reserved front terrace at 6pm, and had a most delicious smoked duck and fois gras salad. There's plenty of space inside for the cooler days... More
