After calling to book and hearing they were full we dropped by and asked for a table and got one, and so the next 3 duo arriving after us. My friend and I ordered different dishes there were tasteless and even more, the sauce in chicken masala was the same as palak paneer (palmar paneer is supposed to be spinach... More

Last month I booked for a romantic saturday dinner with my boyfriend in this indian restaurant and, even it was expensive, it was worthy! I will come back for sure. The problem is that you have to decide in advance to reserve it, not let it for random!

Contrarily to most of indian restaurants which propose only meals from north India, Nandanam serves specialities from south India. The chicken tandoori is delicious, and the take away portions are quite generous.

Most Indian restos in Switzerland serve the same North Indian Mughlai cuisine. Nandanam gives us a VERY welcome break with mainly South Indian - inspired dishes (e.g. ingredients like mustard seed, coconut.) The food is extremely fresh and light, with modern takes on traditional dishes (e.g. a light carrot halwa served with ice cream.) Dishes are served attractively. The decor... More

The menu is small, the dishes not very tasty, its not authentic. I would not go there again. Disappointing like most ethnic restaurants in Lausanne. The best Indian food in the whole region is actually in Divonne.

The place is small at has a great interior, unlike an Indian Restaurant. Definitly need to reserve. The Food is innovative in its presentation and has a great and definitly Indian taste. good value. Highly commended to try!

We walked in to the restaurant to get an idea of the menu. Tthe owner was rude and barely answered our questions, and then just walked away! Ever heard of customer service Mr. Nandanam? Definitely doesn't deserve to be in business.

One of our favourite haunts in Lausanne and certainly the best Indian restaurant in the region. The atmosphere is relaxed yet busy, and the manager, Daz, quickly makes you feel at home. The food is imaginative yet firmly based in Indian traditions with intriguing combinations of taste and spiciness. The chef, Suku, maintains a number of unchanging dishes whilst bringing... More

I tried to book this indian restaurant many times, but it was always fully booked, so my curiosity and expectation were high. atmosphere simple and nice... they pretend to propose creative indian food, avoiding the classic dishes, and I liked the idea... but not everything was good, and the service very poor, everytime i was entering a fork in my... If you are looking for typical indian food, you will be disapointed, but if you want something different, something that you are not used to eat of find in other restaurant, then, you will be pleased. You should definitely try their calamari starter and for the main dish, their beef is also delicious. It is the third time that I... More
