I have been several times to Nandanam, never been disappointed. The food is incredibly tasty, but not too hot for those who would be afraid of Indian spices. I recommend the calamari as a starter. They also prepare marvelous fish with Kerala recipes. Indian beer is served but they also propose a nice selection of Swiss wine. The bistrot atmosphere... More

Delicious food for a cosy place, well located in the heart of Lausanne, easily reachable by train. Awesome cuisine and very nice atmosphere in this little restaurant about to increase in size. Nice choice of dishes with typical south indian cooking. A must for every indian food lover. Book before as it is almost always fully booked!!"

I had today's menu. Veal served with small portion of rice, little portion of green beans and green salad with vinaigrette !!! I never had veal in my different trips to India. I had as started a chilli squid, it was very well cooked, very good and fancy served.

I went there many times and I was never disappointed. The food is nice, the tastes are really like in South India, though it is less spicy than over there. The staff was always very friendly, and when I went with a group of friends for a birthday dinner, we were offered a piece of chocolate cake with candles and... More

Last month I booked for a romantic saturday dinner with my boyfriend in this indian restaurant and, even it was expensive, it was worthy! I will come back for sure. The problem is that you have to decide in advance to reserve it, not let it for random!

Contrarily to most of indian restaurants which propose only meals from north India, Nandanam serves specialities from south India. The chicken tandoori is delicious, and the take away portions are quite generous.

Most Indian restos in Switzerland serve the same North Indian Mughlai cuisine. Nandanam gives us a VERY welcome break with mainly South Indian - inspired dishes (e.g. ingredients like mustard seed, coconut.) The food is extremely fresh and light, with modern takes on traditional dishes (e.g. a light carrot halwa served with ice cream.) Dishes are served attractively. The decor... More

The menu is small, the dishes not very tasty, its not authentic. I would not go there again. Disappointing like most ethnic restaurants in Lausanne. The best Indian food in the whole region is actually in Divonne.

The place is small at has a great interior, unlike an Indian Restaurant. Definitly need to reserve. The Food is innovative in its presentation and has a great and definitly Indian taste. good value. Highly commended to try!
