We went with a couple of friends at the "table d'hotes". Our table was next to the kitchen. We had view over the meals preparations. That was a really great experience. The menu was a surprise by the chef. We were not disappointed even I think some tastes were not well balanced. The wines choice were clever and the sommelier... More

I have eaten at the kitchen table three times over the past six years. Each time is has been great. However the last time, I was left wondering whether there was anything new.

Great restaurant with matching atmosphere. Lives up to its reputation. It is going to be expensive, but for an important business dinner or to celebrate something special, certainly worth it.

We know that this review is quite different from others you may have seen about La Table d'Edgard. I think this is our first ever 1 star review. There were just so many things wrong on the day that we went that we all felt strongly that this message needed to be sent. There were four of us, three Swiss... More

Have had brunch at the palace in the past, and been happy, sadly they seem to be more interested in saving money and picking them in. The overall selection of food was disappointing, also the quality left a lot to be desired, specifically the lamb was ropey! It was also very expensive, over 170 CHF for 2 ......at that price... If you are in Lausanne you MUST visit this restaurant. The food is great and the ambiance súper romantic with a view to Lake Geneve.

This was not one of the best meals I have ever had, but it was really nice. La Table d'Edgar is impressive with a great view of Lausanne and the lake. The service was very attentive and we received our food without to much delay. The food was also excellent, creative but at the same time not to strange. La... More

One of the best dinner experiences of my life. Perfect service, delicious food, outstanding wine selection (including some very rare Swiss wineries), all that with a breathtaking view from Lac Léman. A must do for a very special ocasion!!!

Great service. We were underdressed as just arrived from Zurich. Wasn't a problem. The food was excellent and the view over the lake was amazing. Would go back and try other thing on the menu.

I invited my Dad (and 4 sisters) for his 50th birthday. Horrible service throughout, no service I should say. My glass was empty, I had no bread, the service was cold. The food sucked, the meat was simply bad and hard, the sauce was good, I asked for more (I had a tiny bit) they accepted but never brought it... More
