The burgers and fries are delicious! One of the best in Lausanne. I don't recommend going for a romantic/important lunch/dinner though, because it's more of a fast food environment (eg. you have to go order yourself what you want to eat at the checkout).

As I burger enthusiast I was very eager to check out the local Swiss burger joints and was happy to find the holy cow chain. I tried the españa and my girlfriend had the veggi burger. The burger was good, but could have used more veggies to freshen things up, the bread was rather dry. Meat tasted nice and the... More

Really quick and tasty burgers. They only use fresh local ingredients and you can tell. It's a bit expensive but that's not a surprise considering it's Switzerland. You get good value for money from this place. I recommend it to anyone visiting Lausanne.

Original hamburgers, best fries ever and quick service. 3rd time there, never disappointed, and planning a 4th visit really soon!

I went here because of the numerous review. I ordered a Mexicana chicken burger menu. The food was just ok. The chicken patty was quite good. But in all, I don't think I'd pay 21 francs to eat at a place that looks like its a hole in the wall joint. It was an average experience. I'd give it a... More

This appears to be a popular joint and was quite crowded at 8pm on a Monday evening, mostly with young people. There are long benches to sit on, so seating is not really a problem, as people are willing to move to allow others to squeeze in. The burgers here are very good and reasonably priced by Swiss standards -... More

Locally sourced ingredients and freshly prepared patties make this burger joint tops for the best burgers in town. If you go at peak lunch time be prepared for a wait. The combinations available for the burgers are creative and there's something for everyone. Don't eat beef? Well they have delicious grilled chicken sandwiches as well.

It is quite a new chain, the owners are quite young, and do a great job. It is probably the best burgers you can get in Lausanne, excellent meet and salads. Finally really good Burgers you expected to have in an European town, having a lot of students. Pricing is quite high compared to the US, but wortwhile. Only Hic,... More

Coming from Iceland I am used to excellent quality burgers and can tell whether meat patty is mostly made of meat or not. Holy Cow's meat patties have a lot of additives, the fact obvious to my taste. However, I have noticed that a lot of people do not taste the additives. Therefore, I cannot say that the burgers are... The burgers, despite being supernaturally quick to be served, are delicious. Great choice too. This is a pretty crowded place but do not be affraid, I guarantee you will have your food in less than 10 minutes. Great place if you just want to "eat-n-go". Prices are reasonable, but not "cheap" (Around 20 CHF for a full meal, drink included).... More
